Beautiful Cabin on private lake close to all the attractions in the Eastern UP!

Come for a get away at Papa’s Place!!! This newly remodeled cabin sits on a quiet, private lake, with a large main floor, master bedroom, and a loft with a pair of twin beds. You will find a fully furnished kitchen, brand new appliances, and spacious dining area. A great place for relaxing, you can take a ride around the lake in a paddle boat, fish off of the dock, or have some S’mores around the campfire. Enjoy the sunrise over the lake while sitting next to a cozy fireplace in the cold months, or from the deck in the warm months. Crank up the AC if you need to cool off! Located just off of I-75, and situated between Sault Ste. Marie and St. Ignace, it is the perfect gathering spot to enjoy all that the Upper Peninsula has to offer. Just over 1 mile from the Chippewa County Airport, and only a 15 mile drive from the Soo Locks. For the winter months, it is conveniently located within a hundred yards of some of the best snowmobiling trails in the Eastern Upper Peninsula!

Such a cute place inside is all remodled and has everything you need..no tv which is fine with me my internet worked well in bathroom...waking up having coffee on deck looking over the water is amazing..decent price

I came to the Kinross area with my brother to do some hunting. We encountered terrible weather, but stayed perfectly comfortable in this cabin. Loved the layout and overall feel. 100% recommend!

Nice relaxing stay!

Cabin was very clean! We enjoyed relaxing by the fireplace on a chilly fall night/morning. The neighborhood was quiet. I did not realize the cabin didn't have wifi or a TV but it was for the best. A quick trip to the store kept our kids occupied with Legos and coloring books. Primary bed is very soft so may not be the best for someone who needs a firmer mattress.

UP Weekend

This cabin was in the perfect location to explore the Eastern half of the UP. We visited Cut River Bridge, Tahquamenon Falls, White Fish Point and the Soo Locks. Cabin was just as in the pictures and clean. Neighborhood was quiet and lake was very calm.

Perfect for our Family

We wanted to go to Sault Ste Marie and Mackinac Island. This was a great in between spot and perfect for our family of four. There's no wifi or TV, but we got good reception on our phones. <3

Nice Place on a Small Lake

We enjoyed our stay and it was just what we needed as a jumping off point for visiting Sault St. Marie and Mackinac Island as well as some down time on the lake front. A few minor quibbles - no soap for the shower, no pads on the chairs on the deck, and the bed in the master bedroom could use a new mattress (rolls to the middle).

Perfect spot to relax

We had an absolutely amazing stay. It was a great quiet location, the lake was the perfect size, the deck and living room was serene to just sit and enjoy the peace and quiet. Perfect distance to town for amenities.
