"Arrived late at our stay and then realised that we had in fact booked for the weekend after! Disaster after a 6 hour drive and very little options. We apologised and explained the error to our host. Amazingly and also luckily the host immediately went to work setting up an alternative glamping pod for us to stay in. The place was immaculate, hosts are extremely friendly and everything about the trip was perfect and as described. We will certainly be returning."

"A truly excellent and charming location. A charming, independent garden outside with a fire pit, table, and chairs. The interior is even more magnificent, well-maintained, and above all, equipped with everything you need... meticulously crafted. The table that converts to a bed was a simple but brilliant idea, the bathroom is enormous for a cabin, and the stove is truly wonderful. The only downside is the very narrow road leading to it; unfortunately, there's not much you can do about it... but...

"Had an amazing stay at stairway to Devon. Nathan and Helen are fantastic hosts from start to finish. The cabin is stunning with all the added extras that make it special. The cabin is immaculate with everything you need for your stay. I think the local cider and homemade chocolate brownies was a really nice touch. If you are looking for a relaxing retreat with your partner with amazing views of the countryside then this is the place for you. Will definitely be back. Our two chocolate Labradors...

"This is a beautiful 5 star property in a very quiet rural location. We were two coiples and had so much space to chill and two lovely bedrooms both with en suite was just brilliant. "Everything you need, bonus biscuits and half pint of milk on arrival very lovely. Slightly disappointed as had visions of morning tea at cast iron table (pictured) but unable to locate... bench out front nr bins, laundry, defib not same vibes but very lovely area, local pub great, nice walk down lanes, sadly chip shop was shut, store/post office beautiful with great selection of supplies. Local milk vending machine worth the walk. Took a trip to lundy, highly recommend. Other half not keen on...
