"I always stay at the Hudson Plaza Motel when I come into NYC. It's affordable, great value and located close to public transport easy to get to Jersey City and into Manhattan Every room I have stayed in has been clean and very comfortable. There is laundry on site and the staff are always welcoming and helpful "

"Newark Hampton Inn provides “ free shuttle to airport” but does not actually go to airport! It takes you to AirTrain where you have to then connect by train to airport. It all takes time and with no printed schedule, how can passenger be sure to make flight? I had to take an Uber and then learned air train not even currently in service!! It would have been helpful if staff had informed passengers when they saw us waiting!!"

"Check-in was cold and unwelcoming. The two people at the desk didn't even bother to stand up to greet us. Unfortunately, this set the tone for the entire visit. The absolute worst moment was check-out. The woman at the front desk was actively having her lunch at the desk and clearly resented being interrupted.
