On December 14, 2025, my friends and I made a reservation at TRYP by Wyndham after our flight was canceled and rebooked for the early morning of December 15, 2025. We chose this hotel specifically because of its close proximity to the airport and the advertised complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport, which was a major factor in our decision to stay there.
We had no issues taking the shuttle from the airport to the hotel. During that ride, the shuttle driver instructed us to be in the lobby by 3:50 a.m. for a 4:00 a.m. shuttle departure, as our flight was scheduled to leave at 5:30 a.m. We followed these instructions exactly, were fully packed and ready by 3:30 a.m., and waited in the lobby as advised. However, the shuttle never arrived at 4:00 a.m. When we asked about it, we were told by the driver that he was the only one working and that the shuttle was already full. No alternative solution was offered, and the hotel staff provided no assistance in resolving the issue. As a result, we were forced to order an Uber at our own expense and were left rushing to the airport under unnecessary stress. The failure to provide the complimentary shuttle service we were promised caused a significant inconvenience and defeated the very reason we chose to stay at this hotel. The lack of support and accountability from the staff only added to our frustration. Due to this experience, I will not be booking with Wyndham properties in the future, nor will I recommend them.
