Ottertail Lake Cozy Cabin

This cabin has been newly and nicely remodeled. It has 2 bedrooms with queen beds and an upstairs loft with 2 queen size beds and a twin bed. There are a couple blow up air mattresses for additional sleepers or children:)
Can sleep up to 10 guests.
1 Bathroom on main floor. Well stocked with everything you need for a great time including a grill, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, pots and pans etc...
There is beach access across the road included with your stay. The beach is 300 feet away, it is sandy, shallow and fun. Ottertail Lake is absolutely perfect for all water activities, guaranteed to provide super entertainment.
The Corner Store on the adjacent property has fresh baked goods daily. Their Carmel Rolls make for a delicious breakfast! They have bait, snacks and a variety of other items to make your stay more comfortable. If you have questions by phone for this property you can contact the Corner Store on Ottertail Lake. We cant list our phone number here but if you look it up we will gladly speak to you. (All bookings do have to come through VRBO).

Paddle boards rent for $15 per hour, $40 for a half day and $70 for a full day.
Paddle boat also available.
Boat slip rental available.

“This Cabin is in one of the best locations on Ottertail Lake. It sleeps up to 10+ ppl. It is 20 feet from a convenience store with gas, groceries, wood/ice, and daily fresh baked goods! Its also directly across the street from a Bar/restaurant with great food and music, walking distance to Zorbaz and across the street from a large sandy beach. The cabin itself is very clean, updated and stocked with everything you will need for your stay. We will stay here again, and would recommend to everyone!!”

It accomplished exactly what we needed pet friendly, time away to just hangout with friends and family without the distractions of work and life.However, in one of the bedrooms there were a dirty pair of pants let in the room on the floor and a pacifier from the previous people on the ground. Also, we came in the winter, so I am assuming the summer experience is excellent, but during the winter, at least, the water was untreated and smelled so bad that people chose not to take showers and brushed their teeth with bottled water.

The property was beautiful, home was comfortable and very well maintained. Location was amazing and a fun spot to stay with all of the activities going on. The only negatives were the hot water went out again on Sunday morning so we had no hot water for all day Sunday and Monday morning. Not related to the property, but effects the main floor bedroom to the back of the house at night, is the blue light on the sign from Beach Bums flashes all night and since the shade is not room darkening it definitely is noticeable in the back bedroom and can effect your sleep. Other than that, the place is amazingly and we would definitely stay here again!

This is the 4th time we have stayed here and we will keep coming back… it’s perfect! The cabin is beautiful and comfortable for our party of 4 adults and 5 kids! The location is excellent: The public beach, Corner Store, Beach Bums and Zorbaz all are right there, as well as the convenience of Barkey’s Resort for renting a pontoon. From the kitchen to on-site laundry to the fire pit and spacious yard/deck we had everything we needed to spread out and chill out. Thanks for another great stay! We’ll see you next time!

Family vacation

The cabin was very clean and decorated so cute. The bed were so comfortable and we had everything we needed. The property manager was so helpful and checked in on us to be sure everything was good. The corner store had everything you could think of. Wonderful place to stay!

Nice property

It is a lovely home and was very clean inside. It is located right next to a small "corner store", which is convenient for grabbing snacks or small necessities. It is across the street from a really nice bar/restaurant, which has very good food. There were only a few drawbacks, one being the outside deck area was far from clean when we got there. We needed to wash down all the tables and chairs ourselves before being able to use them (not sure they had been cleaned for the season yet!) and swept the deck. The second story of the home has very low ceilings, so if you are tall (anyone over 5'10"), watch your head! Finally, there is only one small HVAC vent on the second floor, so the upstairs was very warm. We had to keep the AC set at 60 degrees on the first floor just to get it to be somewhat comfortable on the second floor. A window AC unit is really needed.

Great location

Property is in a great spot for a fishing trip near the corner store and a restaurant. Unfortunately it was almost like they forgot they had a rental this weekend. Upon arrival nothing was shoveled out and there was a lot of snow on the sidewalk and porch by the entrance. There was a glue trap with a dead mouse that smelled terrible in the bathroom. We called a number for the property manager on the vrbo app listing to ask about parking additional vehicles with trailers and left a voice mail and the call was never returned (there was a different number and name on the fridge we found later that we never tried). other than that it worked out great for a few guys to use as a fishing base camp. I would rent it again despite the few minor issues because the location is prime.

It’s a nice cozy cabin, nothing fancy but nice to relax. It’s easy walk to the beach on Ottertail Lake. Corner store next door has the best caramel and cinnamon rolls you can ask for. Bummed the pontoon wasn’t available for rental but overall it was a good relaxing few days

Fabulous cabin!

This cabin was perfect for our trip to visit family with a cabin on Ottertail lake. It's within walking distance of Beach Bums and Zorbaz which is a bonus. The cabin itself is perfectly appointed with plenty of beds and space for people to spread out. It was very clean and a had a well equipped kitchen.
