"My wife and I were excited to attend a wedding for friends in DC last weekend. When we arrived at the Glover Hotel, unfortunately a terrible storm began as we pulled in to check in. The front desk associate Jay, stopped everything and helped my wife bring her wedding outfit in the property so it wouldn’t get wet. Jay (she) made that challenge a success. "I had low expectations for this property. I selected it because of its location, which was convenient for my trip to DC. It suited my purposes. Good points beside its location: AC kept the room cool. Negatives: I read review complaints about the parking price. I wasn't bothered by the cost ($25 @ night), but be aware that the garage is small and the parking is very "tight." Also, I used the text message system to request assistance. "Upon my arrival, I was given a tour of the B&B. It was beautifully decorated, and I noticed little touches that made it more special, such as snacks by the coffee/tea maker and access to sunscreen and pool toys at the pool. The included breakfast offered variety and was tasty. During my stay, I felt like I was in a home away from home. I hope to stay here again in the future."

"Everything was exceptional as usual. Staff knew our names, CUT was excellent. Downside is the pool needed cleaning/chemicals and the heater was broken. The pool is a major selling point for us so it was a bit of a let down. We will be back again but will check on the status of the pool first. Staff is excellent, always have gifts for the kids and delicious baked goods in our room. Highly recommend for families."

"The breakfast was excellent. Rooms and common areas were very clean. The quality of the beds and furniture was very good. I would definitely stay again. Parking on site was $30/night. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Our kids enjoyed the pool. The pool area was very well kept. Great experience o stall. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful."
