"The proprietor was extremely friendly and helpful, talking us through the features of the property and mapping out a good route to see the local area, especially useful as we were only in the area for a day. The room and property overall is beautifully decorated. The only negative is a separate private bathroom which does involve crossing a communal area to reach, however each bathroom is exclusive to each room and the property provides bathrobes for each guest so this isn't a massive problem....

"We loved verona! This property is in the san zemo neighborhood, a short walk and across the river from the busy center of verona. This hotel was lovely. Only 12 rooms that are more like mini suites. This is an historic building that used to be a monastery. Just around the corner from the hotel is a beautiful duomo and fantastic restaurants where we had excellent dinners all 3 nights of our stay. Definitely an area where there are more locals than tourists. Stay here if you want a beautiful spot....

Her recommendations for dinner were spectacular and made our evening in Verona so much more memorable. Highly recommend!"
