"Stayed for 2 nights on Sat & Sun 6-8th December. We were greeted with a very busy pub but extremely attentive staff who could not do enough to make us feel welcome. The room was well furnished with a retro vibe. If I am being over critical, I would say that the carpet in the room could do with a clean and the bathroom needs a bit of an upgrade. "It was all so simple, the code was sent through via email for the lock box which contained a fob to get in the main door and key for the bedroom door. Claire was very helpful when we arrived. The rooms are lovely and spacious, comfy bed too! Breakfast was a continental spread and lovely start to the morning, the staff member was very courteous and friendly. "I rented a private room for myself. This meant I had four bunk beds and an en-suite to myself for £40. It was very clean and actually quite quiet and the check-in was super easy and friendly. A much better deal than similarly priced hotels I think. Thanks!"

The staff were all gracious and helpful; the room was exactly what we needed; we were close to the cathedral as well as the shops and restaurants.
