I had one of the worst experiences at Fontanella Green House, especially considering this was my final night before an early morning flight.
I specifically chose this place because it advertised having an elevator, which was important for us with luggage. However, the elevator had clearly been out of service for a long time, and we had to carry our bags up four floors. What made this worse was that the day before arrival, I was still instructed via message to use the elevator — while in reality, it was under full construction.
The situation inside the property was even more disappointing. Our room was located right next to the reception area, and there was constant loud noise from construction work — including drilling — as they were apparently trying to fix the elevator. This made it impossible to rest.
Throughout the night, there was also continuous noise from the reception area, with people talking loudly and frequent disturbances from guests coming and going. There was absolutely no sound insulation, and every noise carried directly into the room.
Since we had to wake up at 6 AM for our flight, getting proper rest was essential, but this stay made that impossible.
This property is misleading in its listing and completely unsuitable for anyone who values rest, especially before an early flight. I would not recommend staying here.
