"A flying visit arriving late in the evening and having to leave promptly after our breakfast. Having advised of the circumstances we were told that breakfast would be served promptly at 8 which would have allowed us to eat breakfast in time but another guest advised at 8 the chef had just arrived so breakfast was available from 8 but by the time it had been cooked we didn't have enough time to eat it. "Central to the university. We needed to move our son from one house to another which was within easy distance. Parking private and next to hotel. Everyone courteous ."

"The property was clean and the room had nice sea views. The rooms are in a converted house next to the Indian restaurant at the site. They are as mentioned in the description accessed via stairs .. quite a few although was offered help with bags. The main negative factor is the location. We arrived and witnessed an altercation on the street in the mid-afternoon with a women punched in the face. The police attended. We looked for other food options but only fish and chips available nearby....

"Lovely staff and excellent location. Rooms look as though they have been recently refurbished. Cold breakfast selection not as good as it used to be but good variety of cooked breakfasts on offer. I found the restaurant very cold in the evening but fine in the morning. Plenty of supplies in the room, tea, coffee, water, biscuits and toiletries etc."

"we ate there the night before we left. We ordered dessert online. The server made us show her our receipt for the dessert before bringing it to our table. When she finally brought our dessert she was very sour and didn’t even apologize. Seemed very rude."
