"had some issues checking in as the property was located in the middle of a residential area with inadequate signs. it was very airbnb-esqe, genuinely thought that we were screwed when we could not find the property after driving a few rounds. when we did find the property via a faded sign, there was no number on the sign to call as this property was not manned at all. to be fair they did whatsapp a message beforehand but it appeared as a foreign number and we do not entertain unsolicited...

"Lovely little hotel in a fantastic location. Clean room, good shower, can’t ask for more really. Was really nice to be able to pop back to the room for a quick freshen up whilst wandering around Melacca as it’s super close to the action. My only criticism would be that the air con was a bit loud and occasionally woke us up but nothing too serious, not enough to knock them down to 5 stars, and most importantly it kept the room nice and cool! "

"It is right next to the famous Jonkor street and easy access to all the main attractions in Melaka. It's an older house revamped to be a two stories hotel with about 9 rooms fitted in. As expected the rooms in the middle have little to no sunlight and relies on small internal garden section to get some lights in. The room it self is not bad and the water pressure is very good. However the room itself is a bit old and the towels needs refresh. "

"The hotel is basic but the rooms are big and beds are comfortable. Has all you need for a few nights sleep. The staff however are amazingly helpful and so nice. "

"Boutique Hotel is literally just a minute walk to Jonker Street night market which operates from Fridays to Sundays. However, it was not noisy and we slept well. Walkable also to all the other major places of interests. There are cafes, bistro, bars and restaurants so you save money on transport. The reception staff were helpful and friendly. "Nice little hotel, excellent location at the start of Jonker Street (though be aware the market is only at weekends and some shops and restaurants may be shut in the week. No window room but clean and comfy. Please note there is no lift and lots of stairs from the street to the lobby if you have heavy luggage. We were woken very early by a cleaner blasting out music in the corridor but apart from that had a great stay."
