This Pisgah Domes property shares a hillside with the other dome, the Humming Bird Dome. We have been very deliberate with making sure both domes have privacy from each other. Please keep in mind that sounds do travel on the mountain side.

Guests need 4x4 to access the main dome parking area. We do have a lower parking area if you don`t have 4x4 and a Polaris UTV to get up to the dome (waiver required).

We are available if needed.

There is no cell service in the vicinity, so plan your route in advance on your smart device. Be sure and use 190 Birds Nest Drive, Balsam Grove NC 28708 on Google maps. DON`T GO TO BIRDS NEST ROAD IN SAPHIRE. WE ARE OFF SHOAL CREEK ROAD IN BALSAM GROVE.
Quiet hours 10pm to 8am.
Only burn firewood from our supply or purchased in WNC. (we sell firewood at the firepit woodshed)
Must sign UTV waiver before arrival if not having 4x4.
