"Myself and my partner only stayed for one night. The cabin was very clean and cosy with everything we needed for our short break. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent, things that not all places we have stayed get right. We used it as a stop off on our trip to photograph the mountains and surrounding areas, this was the perfect stop off for what we wanted. Thank you for the stay, it made our break, we will definitely be booking again."

"The Briers is a beautiful property hosted by Darren, a precious man. He asked after our trip, have recommendations based on what we liked, suggested places that he and his family have enjoyed and was a delight to talk to. The room is spacious, the bathroom is out of a magazine, the view is beautiful and the location ideal. It feels like being in a movie set. We will definitely stay here again when we're in the area. "Main standout quality of this hotel is it’s location. Beautiful views of The Mournes and very well maintained gardens. Also ample car parking space. "Very nice place to stay if you have your own transport. Place was spotless, quiet with lots of free parking spaces. Host said in the email confirmation to text them when we arrived, I did and no reply - did not acknowledge. Plenty of hot water, water pressure is great. Carpet is very clean. "

"Nice stay in the hotel, only fault we found was bar on Saturday night closed at 11pm instead of midnight as claimed in the hotel information pack in the room. Spoilt our night as we came back early from the town to end our night in hotel having a few drinks"

"Wi-Fi was terrible, couldn't get any work done and there was one particualr person on reception who wasn't helpful whatsoever, but there was a lovely gentleman who made up for it and went above and beyond. The room was huge - brilliant! "

"It was such a peaceful stay. The staff were really helpful. Our room was great, really spacious and the bed was comfy. We sat in the lounge and it was so relaxing watching the birds..such a wonderful place."
