"It was lovely. The grounds were quiet and private even though it was close to the road. Sandra the owner was very sweet, kind and accommodating. The rooms were nice and we had two bathrooms in our room, which was so nice. The only hiccup I can mention is that on hotels.com, the address was listed as Fenit Road and it was on Knockanush East. We had to call them to get that information."

"Due to a family bereavement they were unable to offer breakfast, but we had not booked breakfast anyway. Although we were there in late August the town was incredibly quiet. Most food and drink places were closed for the duration of our 3 night stay, for breakfast or dinner. But McMunns were open on our last night and we got a good dinner there."

"The home is clean and comfortable. The host was lovely. There are no amenities (no breakfast) and the walk to town is considerable (and a rather large hill!). But, it was an excellent place to lay our weary heads. Check in and checkout were simple. "

"We were greeted by Gemma and shown to our room. She is a delight. The room was spotless. She pointed out the Hi-Viz for the dark walk home from the local pub/restaurant. Had a fabulous sleep. We will be back"

"Staff was very friendly, food at Benners is amazing! Highly recommend lunch there on Thursday/sunday especially if you like pizza! Rooms are a bit outdated and no mini fridge but it’s clean and comfortable. "

"Review for Cashen Course House – September 2025 We had a lovely stay at Cashen Course House in Ballybunion. The location is perfect — quiet but still close to the town and golf course. The room was spotless, and everything was well maintained, which made for a really comfortable stay. Having on-site parking was a big plus, especially after driving around the countryside. "The Glencarrig B&B was the perfect place to stay! Our room was comfortable and we utilized the guest lounge and game room. The entire place was clean and quaint. Mary is a wonderful host with a true gift in hospitality.
