"Would not let us stay use to a 9lb yorkie-poo emotional support dog. We showed up to the hotel and they would also not refund our money!! Marriott will not get our business and Expedia did nothing to help with our refund! Not a fan of both companies now!!"

"Bathtub had used bar of soap left on ledge and pump was completely out of shower gel- tub dirty. Ac was extremely loud and rattled , loud enough to wake us up every time it kick on. Paid extra for breakfast, was told at check in it started at 6am but apparently on weekends it starts at 7am. We had to leave before it was set up. Check in staff was rude and was obvious she did not want to be there."

"Nice new hotel. Celebrating one year in business at this location on 1-20 in Meridian, MS. Couple things; elevator instpection expired 2 weeks ago. We wouln't have noticed but the elevator jumped and my hot coffee spilled on my arm. Ouch! Also, poor ventilation in the rooms and hallway. Not one window opens. On the pro side...Sweet, 70'' TV for viewing was awesome. Caught a great NBA game with Lakers fighting for the vin vs. Nuggets. "

"The property on the outside was fine and with a lot of parking. The lobby and eating area was alright and looked to have been recently redone. The room was less clean that I would like, but adequate. The bathtub was quite dingy looking and in need of a reglazing. Breakfast was mixed with some inedible hot items, but lots of other choices such as waffles, yogurt, toast, etc. I booked specifically because of the pool and jacuzzi and the pool was fine, but someone had vomited in the jacuzzi. "Rooms are small, bathroom doors are the barn sliding door style and it seems they don’t stay in the grooves leaving you with gaps and as the bed is right next to this barn door you can hear everything. The Boxcar bar has a nice view but very limited cocktail menu which is over priced even by hotel standards. It was fine to have the experience and stay in downtown of Meridian but overall just an average hotel. "

"My experience was disappointing. The first room I was given still had trash left in the garbage cans and the room had an unpleasant smell. I asked for another room, but the second room wasn’t much better. The shower was dirty and there were stains on the furniture. On top of that, the key card machine wasn’t working, so staff had to let us into the room each time. Overall, the cleanliness and maintenance of the rooms were not up to standard."

"First of all this place is in the GHETTO. Bums all around and I didn’t feel like my vehicle was safe. The front desk clerk was nice and told me if I smoke in the non smoking room it’s $250, well I don’t smoke but I walked in and it smelled like someone just finished smoking a pack in there. I told the clerk and she got me a new room, but it was still gross. The sheets had stains and it smelled bad. There was no kind of breakfast as stated on here, not even coffee. Do not stay here. "
