"Saw a few ants on the nightstand. Also a horrible smell in bathroom. Not sure if it was sewer gas or a drain problem or a problem when they hooked up plumbing with no traps. Very noisy from Interstate traffic but can’t help that. Breakfast was great."

"An older hotel that is dire need of an update, or at least sone serious maintenance, the gotel itself is ok for one night but beyond that, forget it. The location is far from great, in the back end of town and with little within walking distance.
The staff deserve their own paragraph. I have never experieced a more dour, unhappy bunch of people. Even the breakfast staff were rude and grumpy. The one standout was the lady on reception, who was helpful and had a smile for the guests.

"Historical building under remodeling. Walking distance to restaurants, shopping etc. No room service available, spa needs a remodeling/refresh asap. A/C is very loud, tiny showers, old and rusty fixtures.
The lobby is well maintained, the front desk and valet parking staff are EXCELLENT. On-site restaurant closed after lunch. Outdoor pool is not heated, the hot tub is. Beautiful surroundings.
