Vacation home with large terrace in the vacation park at Twistesee, Bad Arolsen

We rent our beautifully renovated roof-only house in the “Am Twistesee” holiday park.

The house has 6 beds divided into a double bed on the ground floor and 2 x 2 single beds on the upper floor.
Bedding is provided, but you must bring your own bed linen, sheets, towels and tea towels.

We offer a new fitted kitchen with a convection oven, ceramic hob, 2 refrigerators, extractor hood, kettle, coffee machine and much more.
A dishwasher is not available.

The bathroom has been renovated with a shower and toilet.

In the house you will find a flat-screen television and a radio-CD stereo system.

The house has WiFi.

On the large sun terrace you can enjoy the peace and quiet of the forest and nature.

This is a non-smoking house and unfortunately pets are not allowed.

Grilling with your own gas or electric grill is permitted.
Grilling with charcoal is not permitted due to the risk of forest fires!

Since the house is located in the middle of the forest, as can be seen in the photos, it can happen that a spider or a mouse gets lost inside.

The prices for the house vary depending on the season between EUR 69 and EUR 85 per day.

In addition to the rental price, there is a flat rate of EUR 3.50 per day / person for water, electricity, gas and WiFi, which is paid on site in cash.

The final cleaning costs EUR 60 and is paid in cash on site when the keys are handed over.

In addition to a table tennis table and a volleyball court, the holiday park also has a very nice playground with a climbing frame, slide, swing, etc.

The Twistesee offers a beautiful sandy beach (accessible on foot) with restaurants, toilets and showers, a water ski facility, boat rental and much more.

At the entrance to the holiday park there is a mini golf course and right next to the holiday park there is a "real" 9-hole golf course with all the trimmings. There is a very good burger restaurant here, which is also within walking distance.

In Bad Arolsen (approx. 5 minutes away by car) there are not only good shopping opportunities but also very good restaurants for every taste.

If you would like to go on bike tours but can't or don't want to take a bike with you, you can rent one cheaply and easily in Bad Arolsen from 2Rad-Brüne (www.2rad-bruene.de).


The neighboring house, also a well-renovated single-roof house, is also available for rent.

Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet besonders die Küche. Der Wohnbereich ist sehr gemütlich und die Zimmer sind gut aufgeteilt. 6 Personen haben reichlich Platz. Der Park ist sehr nett angelegt.... wir kommen gerne wieder

Das Ferienhaus liegt sehr schön, ruhig im Wald und in unmittelbarer Nähe zum See. Es war grundsätzlich sauber und ausreichend groß. Schöner Küchenbereich. Auch das Badezimmer ist in renoviertem Zustand. Die Möbel sind etwas älter, was nicht gestört hat – allerdings sollte das Bett im Schlafzimmer ersetzt werden, da es stark geknarrt hat. Die Kommunikation mit der Hausverwaltung war sehr freundlich und unkompliziert.

Süßes Häuschen, leider hat meine Allergie aufgezeigt, dass es nicht ganz so sauber war. Ich habe eine Hausstaubmilben allergie und immer wenn ich an den Vorhängen, Kissen oder Decken war, musste ich nur noch Niesen und meine Augen haben getränt. Ich war froh, dass ich mein eigenes Bettzeug dabei hatte, damit ich zumindest schlafen konnte. Die GastgeberIn war sehr nett, leider hab ich sie nicht persölich kennen gelernt.

Familienfreundlich, leider zu wenig Sitz-und Liegemöglichkeiten auf der Terrasse. Küche ist gut bestückt nur die Gläser sind nicht auf 6 Personen ausgelegt.

Schön gelegenes Ferienhaus von Natur umgeben. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt vor Ort genossen. Die Terrasse vor dem Haus lädt zum verweilen ein. Der Checkin und -out verlief ohne persönlichen Kontakt. Das Ferienhaus war für unsere Bedürfnisse okay eingerichtet, an vielen Stellen weist es aber Renovierungsbedarf auf der sicherlich leicht behoben werden könnte. Nichtsdestotrotz würden wir jederzeit wieder kommen.

Schöne, ruhige und gepflege Lage.

Ich kannten den Ferienpark nach und hatte keine großen Erwartungen.Bin aber sehr sehr positives Überrascht.Meine Kinder 7 u. 4Jahre, haben es geliebt. Die Spielplätze etc. In der Umgebung sind super.Auch die Minigolfanlage etc, sind in einem guten Zustand.Das Ferienhaus ist ein kleines Schätzchen.Es ist gut eingerichtet so dass es zumindest uns an nix gefehlt hat.Die Treppe war interessant, aber nach ein paar mal auf und ab gehen, kein Problem für die Kinder.Alles in allem ein schöner Urlaub und jederzeit gerne wieder.Auch der Kontakt war stets positiv.

Es war sehr gute Zeit, alles für Familie ist da, Spaß für Kinder und Rühe für Eltern 9 weil war zu wenig Klopapier, keine Müllbeutel , nur ein Geschirrtuch. Nicht schlimm aber unangenehm.

Ich würde es weiter empfehlen

Insgesamt war der Aufenthalt gut. Ein kleiner Minuspunkt war die Ausstattung, insbesondere die Gläser, die zusammengewürfelt und zu wenige waren. Auch das Toilettenpapier war knapp bemessen, sodass wir Nachschub besorgen mussten. Dennoch sollte dies niemanden davon abhalten, diese Ferienwohnung zu buchen.

Für unsere Motorradtouren ein perfekter Standort. Zum Glück hatten wir super Wetter. Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig im Wald, dadurch allerdings auch schattig. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen.
