Step through a set of French doors, into this gorgeous handcrafted home, and you’ll be greeted by a characterful lounge adorned in traditional farmhouse-style decor. Exposed stonework and vaulted ceilings with original beams add to the cottage’s charm and historic ambience. Make your way to the adjoining bespoke kitchen area and rustle up some dinner to enjoy at the delightful dining table. Alternatively, head out into the pretty courtyard garden, fire up the BBQ and dine alfresco. After dinner, check out the secluded fire pit area, or retreat to the lounge to relax by the crackling wood burner. At the end of the day, climb the striking spiral staircase made with local ash to the spacious landing that leads to two dreamy bedrooms. The first bedroom boasts a king-size bed and French doors that lead to a Juliet balcony, while the second is a twin room with beds that easily convert into a queen-size. Completing the layout, you’ll find a sleek bathroom with a roll-top bath and walk-in shower. Private parking for two cars.


Head into Lyme Regis (7.5 miles) to hunt for fossils on the famous Jurassic Coast and immerse yourself in maritime history at the Lyme Regis Museum.
