Cairngorms Flower Lodge

This Lodge is located in The Aviemore Holiday Park, right in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park. At this prime location, you are only 5-minute walk from all amenities and from the centre of Aviemore, which hosts a great selection of cafes, restaurants, pubs, shops and the main train station and bus terminal.

You can enjoy the home comfort after a long day out of exploring rolling hillsides, charming villages, leafy woodland or any other outdoor activities including walks, hiking, skiing, snowboarding, fishing, cycling, water sports, golfing, horse riding and karting.

The home has 2 bedrooms and is fully furnished with everything you will need for your self-catering holiday. It is fully insulated with double glazing & gas central heating throughout providing modern, warm accommodation all year round.
The master bedroom has a king size bed, en-suite bathroom with a bath tub. The second bedroom has twin single beds. There is also a separate family WC/Shower room for convenient use.

The lodge comprises a comfortable modern open plan kitchen/dining /lounge with French doors leading out to a private decking area to front and side where you can enjoy the stunning mountain views and also enjoy the sunshine in most days.

Fully equipped kitchen with all appliances, including a cooker with oven and grill, an integrated microwave, built-in dish washer and fridge/freezer and is fully equipped with various items for all what you need for your stay.
Separate dining area with a table and 4 chairs.

Open plan living area is equipped with a 43” flat screen digital HD TV, HD Freeview and a DVD player.

Please note that the lodge is non-smoking and no pets are allowed.

We also do not accept Hen/Stag parties or Events.

Cleaning Fee of £50 will be charged on check out.

Le logement est dans un village de mobilehome, ce qui n’est pas décrit sur l’annonce. Pas de vue. Il restait de la nourriture dans l’évier, une odeur désagréable du linge de maison. Le montant des frais de ménage de 50 £ sont informés après réservation. Aucun retour du propriétaire par rapport à mon message à ce sujet.

This was the worst place we stayed on our Scottish road trip. It was clean, however the beds were extremely uncomfortable. The 2nd bedroom was tiny, it advertised 2 x single beds but they are caravan single beds not normal size single beds. There is not even a gap to walk between them. Our daughter was so claustrophobic that she slept on the couch. There is no phone service, and although the listing says it has wifi, you need to pay extra for this and it does not reach the cabin. This would be fine except for the fact that the welcome pack is “online” so while I managed to get details to check in (while we had service elsewhere) , we were unable to check it for the departure instructions, where in the small print you are charged a fifty pound cleaning fee if you dont strip the beds for them. There was also food left in the freezer from previous guests.

Die Unterkunft war gut eingerichtet und sauber. Die Lage unterhalb der recht befahrenen Straße war nicht so schön. Man sollte sich online einchecken, jedoch gab es kein free WiFi und wir hatten kein Datenvolumen mehr.

Ideal location for local amenities, activities, transport links and hiking. We saw 4 toads, a deer, a frog, various dragonflies, mayflies, butterflies and 2 red squirrels all within the the area near the lodge.Check in was easy.

Our group was two married couples all about 60 years old. We stayed one night and all was exactly as stated in the online description and personal instructions. It was very clean and well stocked with essentials. We would definitely stay there again.

Good spot to stay and explore the Cairngorms

Very clean, and well kept static. Good size main bedroom with ensuite bathroom which was nice. The second bedroom is very small with tiny beds so if you have kids that are teens you may find it too cramped, an adult would certainly struggle to sleep on the beds. It was very clean and obviously cared for. Let down in a few areas which if addressed would making it top notch, main thing was the master bedroom mattress, it's obviously a cheap mattress and not very comfortable, the kitchen is equipped but missing basic items such as a frying spatula, sharp knives ect so some a bit of attention to correct that. Otherwise it's a good option for a stay in Aviemore.and we did enjoy our stay.

Weather for ducks

Torrential rail for almost all of our stay but the lodge was comfortable and we were well looked after by the hosts who were in regular contact with us.Lovely hot showers/ bath and comfortable beds.

Tres propre . Clair. litterie top pour le grand lit de la chambre parentale .les petit lit de la 2emme chambre sont un peu petit .... Un tres joli et spacieux salon avec cheminée électrique tres sympa pour l ambiance. Hebergement tres confortable. Je recommande ce logement les yeux fermés.

Not as advertised

No signal on TV contacted host who eventually got back to me. They said the wire would be in the back of DVD, it was so we swapped it over, this didn’t fix it. Someone came round and tried to fix it on the 2nd day but couldn’t so said they would come on our last day and try again but when we got back from being out all day it still wasn’t fixed saying no signal. Having a son with autism made it even more difficult as he would normally watch a film whilst relaxing, as there was no tv we had to go out morning till night. WiFi was poor which would’ve been fine but as we had no tv it was only source of entertainment. Family in a nearby chalet had perfect WiFi. Paid £495 for 3 nights with no tv or WiFi, this put a real dampener on our holiday. Place was not as clean as I would’ve expected or have experienced in other self catering. We got one towel each but they were badly smelling of damp especially when wet. I reached out to the host to advise them that I was unhappy and that the chalet was not as advertised due to having no TV and have raised a complaint through VRBO.

Lovely, super clean property in a tranquil location. Great facilities with everything we needed for our three night stay. Comfortable king sized bed in a decent sized room. Parking space next to the accommodation. Our main issue was was with the on line check in as the welcome pack with the form to do this was not attached with the information sent by the hosts. It took a twenty minute phone call to the helpline to rectify this and we were not actually able to complete the registration as obtaining an activation code meant that the page for registration was lost. A simple laminated booklet in the chalet would have been much easier. We were unable to access the wifi or work the TV even after several attempts at following the instructions. The only other negative was that the towels had a very musty smell and a couple of hand towels in addition to the small bath towels would have been appreciated. This was not a major issue as we were only staying for a few days. All in all we enjoyed our stay and have taken away some nice memories.
