"The staff were all very professional and nice from the valet parking, registration, etc. We got a King Size bedroom. We were offered a better option for additional amount but declined. It was one of the older non renovated rooms and I am with, in preserving the character but the closet door handle doesn’t even work. "We loved character of the building and the proximity to downtown. However the hotel was not as secure as others. Anyone from the public could access elevators. Also a $25 amenities fee was attached for cookies, water, and bikes. We did not need or use any of these."

"Excellent hotel to stay in. Surrounded by so many things Chicago has to offer. Right across from the river. We were greeted nicely, was able to upgrade to a nicer room at a fair price. Check in was smooth. Room was very nice, well maintained hotel lobby, rooms hallways etc. had breakfast in the Land and Sea restaurant downstairs due to a rainy morning. Would definitely recommend staying at the London House for a stay in Chicago."

"What a sweet surprise! We've never stayed at a hostel before. We had our own room with a queen bed and our own bathroom. It looked just like a hotel room with about 25% percent of the cost of other hotel rooms in Chicago. Very convenient location and a quick 20 minute walk to Navy Pier. Also, it was a quick 12 minute drive to Chicago Union station. The room was quiet and I would highly recommend!"
