Firstly, when I made the reservation through you all it stated in the price given it included all taxes and fees, however, when I arrived 11/5/25 they required a $150 deposit and would not take cash. As a result of my complaint about the deposit the gentleman, Paul, gave me a card allowing for a free breakfast for 2 for the following day. Secondly, had noticed a few unacceptable things in room 525, and brought it to the attention of the General Manager, Mr. Peterson/Patterson. He assured me that the following would be corrected: the office chair had half of the black pleather missing off the front back of the chair and a few missing spots on seat of the chair, the center window sheers were dry rotted and torn badly, there was only 1 set of towels and had slept the first night in the cold because the thermostat had stopped working. (by the time of my arrival was exhausted and needed rest) Mr. P and I agreed upon a time to send in maintainence to correct these appalling issues. When I returned to the room the office chair had been replaced and additional towels provided, however, the thermostat was still non-functioning and the sheer curtain panels hadn't been replaced. I went back downstairs and Mr. P had left for the day and I informed the desk staff and they sent up Danny to fix the thermostat. He stated he forgot:( At this point I was just too through with all of this and couldn't wait to check out Friday, November 7, 2025.
My stay was a headache to say the least.
