Awful Experience! Poor Service and Hidden Charges
My stay at this Holiday Inn was unexpectedly uncomfortable and frustrating. I had booked and paid through Expedia for a King room with a sofa bed, but upon arrival, I was given a standard room with two Queen beds instead.
When I raised the issue at the front desk, the staff member, a man who identified himself as “Zee”, claimed that Expedia had already been notified about the room change at the time of booking. However, he offered no proof of this, and he handled the situation in an unprofessional and dismissive way, even insisting on canceling my reservation rather than offering a solution. I was never informed in advance about any change to my reservation.
To make things worse, I was charged an unexpected $100 security deposit and an additional $15 for parking, fees that were never mentioned on Expedia’s website, where they boast about transparency in pricing. This lack of upfront communication felt deceptive.
Overall, this experience was incredibly disappointing. Between the poor service, unexpected charges, and not getting the room I reserved, I will not be staying at this hotel again, and I do not recommend it to others.
