Acropolis Luxury Apartment

The Space
The Acropolis Luxury House is comprised of 65 square meters of living space and a large private balcony on the first floor of a small and cozy new apartment building built in 2011. The compound has an eclectic design and combines a neoclassic structure built in the early 1900’s with a new modern luxury compound in its backdrop. There is a master bedroom (for two) with a jumbo queen size bed, a full bath, a kitchenette, a large living room (with two single pull out couches which sleeps one on each). The unit is decorated in a luxurious, comfortable, and distinctive style. It is furnished with antiques, original artwork and furniture of Greek and Italian origin.
Amenities include generous breakfast items and bathroom beauty supplies for the first day of your stay. For those who enjoy exercise, the apartment houses a professional quality tread mill. The kitchenette is fully equipped with oven, electric stove, fridge, espresso coffee maker, kettle, toaster, cookware, cutlery and dishes. A vacuum cleaner, Iron and Ironing board, and a laundry machine can also be made available. Spacious closets add to a comfortable stay. The space is fully equipped with luxurious bed and bath linens and German down comforters and pillows. The house is fully air conditioned and there is also an autonomous heating system for the winter months. Cleaning service is free once per week for any given stay, but can be arranged more frequently as per guest requirement with extra compensation.

The Acropolis Luxury Apartment is modeled after a hotel suite featuring luxury and comfort, but also offers the warmth of a home. The owner’s vast experience with luxury hospitality décor, equipment, and etiquette defines a new form of “home hoteling” and combines fine aesthetics with a convenient utility of space. A small family visiting Athens can be hosted comfortably in this space and each visitor will always have the sense that there is a welcoming and hospitable presence in the vicinity.

The apartment is ideally and centrally located in the heart of ancient Athens. The Acropolis and the metro station of Thissio are directly adjacent to this property. Most cultural and lifestyle points of interest in Athens, such as the Acropolis Museum, the ancient agora, and the very scenic old areas of Monastiraki and Plaka, are all well under a 10 minute walk. Summer visitors can enjoy beautiful and scenic cafés, taverns and trendy restaurants and can even enjoy the Thisio outdoor cinema (which has been rated one of the 10 best outdoor cinemas of the world)..all within 3 minutes walking distance.

Alex and his wife were wonderful. The hotel location is super convenient for restaurants, the beach, the port, and the boat taxi. Hotel is really well maintained and rooms kept tidy every day. I would highly recommend it.

The property was clean and comfortable. The reason for the 1 star is for the lack of communication. I chose this place because it had a washer and dryer and we were mid trip and needed to do laundry. They did not have a dryer. We had to go to a laundromat. It was disappointing because I specifically planned to be able to do a couple loads of laundry. Bought soap and everything.

Fabulous location. Clean and Quiet.

Landlord had taxi met are plane and the location is perfect for all the tourists areas. A few minute walk to everything., but still in a real neighborhood. Grocery store, pharmacy tavernas and the most friendly bakery(and great) a few minutes in the other direction.

Great location

This AirBnB would comfortably fit four individuals, with one bedroom and a pullout couch. The location is amazing, just a five minute walk from all the action. I would stay here again, and I highly recommend it, too!

Le propriétaire nous a réservé un taxi avec lequel il travaille et qui est venu nous chercher à l'aéroport et nous à accompagné jusqu'à l'appartement. L'appartement est très bien. Le quartier très calme bien qu' à 2 pas des restaurants et de l'acropole. Nous vous conseillons un restaurant en prenant à gauche au bout de l'impasse puis dans un jardin à côté de l'église. Fréquenté par les locaux il propose de très bonne cotelettes d'agneau entre autre

Amazing: The house is new and clean, and It's like the photos show. All perfect!

I have been with my daughter (nine years old) and all is fantastic! The house, the proprietress and the location was amazing. Very close to the metro and to the pedestrian area. Absolutely recommended! Go there and you found only fun! Regards

Close to Thiosis Metro, Acropolis, restaurants, street vendors, and nightlife. Roomy apartment, with nice sunny sitting area, separate bedroom alcove, and efficient kitchen. Owner slow to communicate when ??asked. Better instructions on set up and leaving needed. Electrical complicated due to tripped breaker. Washer worked well, end electrical drying rack efficient. Elevator touchy, but a god send! Overall, I would do it again and recommend this place.

Great location in comfortable apartment

Although I felt that the communication with the owner could have been better, we liked the apartment and enjoyed our stay. This is a first floor unit (not ground floor), it is located inside of a gated house off of a small side street. The windows of the apartment overlook a patio area so it is quiet. The location couldn't be better for walking everywhere and we felt very safe as it is in a quiet residential area yet a block from the walkway to the Acropolis. The bed was very comfortable and the apartment is spacious. The linens and furnishings are mid range. We did not use the small kitchenette. The bathroom was basic but very nice and the apartment was clean. We requested the driver from the airport and it was he who gave us recommendations and directions as well as let us in to the property, otherwise we would have been bothered by the lack of detailed information. We arranged for the driver to pick us up also on our way out and he was great to deal with. It is a great choice for the price.

Beautiful property, excellent location!

Our family of 4 stayed here and it was perfect. Location was great, lots of good places to eat nearby and close to train station to get to Piraeus for island hopping. Ms. Elly was warm hearted and welcoming. True Greek hospitality. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Wonderful Athens Apartment!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the apartment! It was immaculately clean, spacious, tastefully decorated, well equipped, and very comfortable. The location was perfect and we were within walking distance to major sites, restaurants, and shopping. There's a great bakery about a block away-try the raisin filled yeast rolls for breakfast! Panos was kind enough to arrange for a taxi to pick us up at the airport which made getting to the apartment stress free. We would recommend this apartment to couples as a great alternative to staying in a hotel room. Many thanks to Panos and Elli for welcoming us to Athens and providing first rate accommodations! Very nice et close to all sites

Very spacious apartment it is exactly as in the pictures it is very well located two minutes from metro station and a small market street from morning to evening. The other two sleeping places are the sofa that does not unfold but comfortable. It is ready to all sites are possible make easily.
