Exceeding Expectations

It is rare that my expectations are exceeded with a VRBO, but this place did it. The house is larger on the inside than it appears. Two bedrooms are nice sized (large by European city standards). The third is small, but was perfect for my 11 year old. The view is amazing. Directly across the street is a not great roof top, but just cast your gaze a few degrees higher and there is the acropolis with the Parthenon gleaming every morning and glowing every night. We were able to see cranes raise and lower while they worked on its restoration. The neighborhood is a few blocks from the main tourist roads so it is quiet, but still close enough to feel very safe and clean. We stayed while temps were in the upper 90s every day and the AC was able to keep up with US expectations no problem. The elevators were small but there are two of them(!) which really helped with getting our bags up the first day. The one and a half bathrooms were nice and clean. The floors are almost all marble and the house is nicely appointed. The host provided very clear check in details and a full booklet of helpful information. I was impressed at every turn.

Amazing place

Great apartment with an amazing view. My family really enjoyed it. Extremely comfortable and great location so it's only short walk to Acropolis and shoping district. My family loved it.

Great location

This property is exactly as listed. It's a great location to the Acropolis, restaurants, and shops. The host was very prompt with communication and actually arranged our transport to the airport which was an added bonus. The host had everything laid out in the welcome email and a booklet of information and activities in the front living room. Another added bonus was an air conditioning unit in each of the 3 bedrooms and in the main living area. I also appreciated the walking directions to nearby food markets. It was a wonderful and relaxing stay. The outside area was also a welcomed feature with a stunning view (especially at night) of the Parthenon.

Great Views

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The pictures do not do it justice. We comfortably fit our family of which included our 3 teenage/adult kids. One of the balconies had a gorgeous view of the Parthenon particularly at night. The neighborhood is friendly, safe, and has a lot of good restaurants.

An Excellent choice

The location was perfect. The view of the Acropolis, especially late night was more beautiful than I can express. The apartment was spacious and clean. There were many restaurants and shops in the area. I highly recommend this accommodation.

Great location, comfortable appartement

We enjoyed the generous spacious living/ dining room, as well as the two balconies, one with a great view to the Akropolis. One bedroom is rather small but ok for one person, the other two double bedrooms are fine. One very nice bathroom with great shower, and one small toilet, both without keys though. Great communication upfront, very helpful.

Breathe taking

You see the photos of the acropolis but you are so much closer than you think. Close to everything, great food near by, easy walking to acropolis and acropolis museum. Highly recommend. Plus personal driver to pick up or take to airport for a reasonable price.

Acropolis View Appartment

Appartment was amazing, beautifully clean with a spectacular view from the balcony. Location is excellent, just a few minutes walk from the acropolis, lots of restaurants and shops. The area was nice and quiet on a night, no loud bars nearby.Excellent communication from Helena before and during our stay and accommodating us for an extra 2 days when our flights were cancelled. Chryssa who met us on arrival was lovely and very helpful.Shower pressure is good. Towels and sheets provided. Lifts or stairs to access the apartment. Lots of comfortable seating in the living room and a large dining table. Cannot recommend enough, would give higher than 5 stars if allowed.

Excellent Apartment

This apartment was amazing from start to finish. We arranged for a pick up at the airport and Chryssa was there to meet us. She was absolutely amazing and there was no better way to be greeted to a new city! She dropped us at the apartment and George was there waiting and gave us a very thorough walk through of this lovely apartment. The apartment itself was absolutely perfect and in an absolutely perfect area! Large balconies of both sides of the apartment, very effective heaters/AC in every room and everything you needed in the kitchen. Lots of restaurants close by but the apartment was very quite. Our communication with the owners, Helena and Vassili, was fast and very helpful as we prepared for our trip. Once we were settled into the apartment Chryssa was available to answer any question we had. We loved our stay, felt like family, and would not only stay in this apartment again but would highly recommend it to family and friends.

Perfect location for family

We had a wonderful stay here with our family, ages 47 to 6. The apartment was large so we could spread out, fully equipped, and had an incredible view of the Acropolis. It was easy walking distance to the Acropolis and many other sights, downtown, bus stops, etc. We felt safe there, and it made a great base for our time in Athens.

Perfect place to stay

Great place to experience Greek history and culture. Everything is within walking distance and the view of the Parthenon from the balcony is breathtaking. Helena and team made you feel right at home. Can’t wait to come back

Nice apartment in great location

Apartment was well appointed and roomy with 2 bathrooms and nice shower. Washer was an extra bonus. Fantastic view of the Parthenon from the large balcony in front. Another large balcony in the back. Security locked building with elevator. Walking distance to sites. We only took public transportation when we went to Delphi. Highly recommended!

Great 3 BR apartment Acropolis view

Large 3Br apartment, well situated very near the Acropolis and Acropolis Museum. Easy access to shopping in Plaka District. Hosts are lovely, great communication, all details for apartment very clear to understand. Hosts were accessible prior to and throughout our stay. Would definitely stay here again when in Athens.

Amazing Acropolis Apartment

This apartment is simply amazing, and so much better even than the photo's indicate. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 large doubles and a single, a full bathroom plus a separate 2nd toilet, a fully equipped kitchen and a very large living area comprising lounge and dining rooms. There are very wide balconies running the full length of the apartment both front and back, so you can follow the sun or shade during the day. The front balcony has the most amazing acropolis views. The apartment is a 5 minute walk to the Plaka restaurant strip and the Plaka metro stop. It's a super large apartment and spotlessly clean. I will definitely stay here again if visiting Athens again.
