"Beautiful room, we stayed in the separate rooms outside from the main building. Extremely warm welcome with a tour of the stunning pub. We were invited for complementary canapes - which unfortunately we couldn't make. Huge room and bathroom with a little terrace. Massive comfy bed. Breakfast was really premium with awesome vegan option. Very quiet surroundings. Perfect location to grab a morning run on Dunwich Heath. Parking was easy and safe. Loved every minute and will definitely be back. "

"Comfortable room with excellent tea making supplies - and a good sized mug each! The floor fan was useful as it was very warm. The hotel kindly allowed a later check out with a prompt and polite response to our request. Check in was efficient and simple. The evening meal was superb - great value and the pavlova! Wow! Chef’s kiss! All in all - a beautiful historic building and a really enjoyable stay. We will return I am sure. "

"Fantastic stay. I received a warm welcome and was informed of the history of the main house and given informationabout breakfast and the relaxing bar area. Breakfast orders are taken the evening before, and my order was delivered to the dining room at exactly the time ordered (it was hot, fresh and delicious). There are cereals etc already in the room. "A very nice hotel with pleasant dining and lounge areas in a super position directly opposite the beach and Moot Hall. Friendly staff and very clean. Great breakfast, including lovely kippers! "

"Name check for Jordan ( front of house ) This gentleman went above and beyond. As ITFC were playing at home I had to park temporarily on yellow lines in the car park. He offered to move his own car do I could park. "
