"The hotel is very clean and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. We were that happy we booked in on our return journey from Devon. The hotel faces the Victoria Square Garden, with a short walk through the garden you’re into Clifton village. There’s restaurants and shops within walking distance. Also the bus stop is outside the hotel, where the No8 takes you into the city, and the return stop is also outside the hotel. I would recommend staying here ! "

"Can't beat location Very noisy at night - loud music outside rooms until 6am. Room hot so needed to keep window open but noise a problem Room small but otherwise good service "

"Such a beautiful apartment with everything you need for your stay. Very clean and welcoming, in a quiet area. The apartment is light, bright and airy. The communication is spot on and even though the apartments dont have a reception area, it only takes a phone call to address your questions. I highly recommended and will definitely be coming back. "Well situated for restaurants in the evening. Bus stop to and from Temple meads outside the hotel. Older property well maintained, friendly helpful staff. Lovely bar in the evening. Breakfast delicious. Visited 2 weekends in a row for rugby. A lovely 30 mins walk to and from Ashton Gate. And about 30 min walk to the Amphitheatre area. "

Some items could do with some tlc, desk in room was very badly scratched and the bath/shower seal was a bit murky, also only 2 small milks in the tea tray seems very miserly, but was able to get more at reception easily enough. Staff friendly and helpful, breakfast had plenty of variety, comfortable beds."
