Scenic Serenity in the heart of Apple Country

Spacious basement ll apartment with 9 foot ceilings and private entrance. One bedroom with a king size, poster bed. Queen size bed can be set up for additional guests in the living room. Fully equipped kitchen as well as a washer and dryer for your convenience. No need to bring anything just show up, relax and enjoy!

Less than four miles from interstate 26. Drive .08 of a mile (off the main road) through surrounding apple orchards on a well maintained gravel road to your peaceful, secluded destination. Relax on the porch and enjoy the gorgeous Mountain View’s.

If outdoor activities are appealing, take a short hike on nearby Bearwallow Mountain, a stroll down historic downtown Hendersonville (5 miles), explore the Chimney Rock/Lake Lure area (12 miles), visit the beautiful waterfalls and trails of DuPont State Forest (18 miles) or explore the history and beauty of the Biltmore Estate in Asheville (about 23 miles). We also have many local breweries/wineries in the area. Sierra Nevada Brewery, Saint Paul Mountain Vineyards (2.8 miles), Point Lookout Vineyards (6.2 miles), Dry Falls Brewery and Bold Rock Hard Cider to name a few.

DIRECTIONS
Waze navigation app is the only GPS (that I know of) that will bring you to the house. Once on Stepp Acres Lane make sure to turn right immediately after passing the 3rd mobile home. There is a green sign for #216 and a dumpster on your left. There will be another green sign (#216) directing you up the hill towards a brick house. Turn left in front of the brick house. This is our driveway. Directly after passing the metal shed on your left you will see a graveled parking area. This is where you will park and walk through the yard to enter the downstairs living area.

Be advised you will be walking through the grass/yard to enter the apartment. There is always a possibly the grass could be wet due to rain, humidity or morning dew. We suggest bringing a pair of shoes that you don’t mind walking through wet grass in, just in case.

We will gladly assist renters carrying luggage to and from their cars. We will also allow you to pull your car up to the door to load and unload. We just ask that you check with us first before doing so. We have septic lines in the front yard.

I took my mother to Hendersonville for our annual mother/daughter getaway for Mother’s Day weekend, and chose this property because of the convenient location and the fact that it had no steps, since my mother uses a walker. Unfortunately , it rained most of the time, but that did not deter us from enjoying our beautiful accommodations . This place was beautifully decorated, spacious, and immaculate. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook, and the king-size adjustable bed could not have been more comfortable. The host was very attentive, calling me the day prior to our arrival, as well as once during our stay, to ensure we had everything we needed and didn’t have any questions. I definitely recommend this property, as you will not be disappointed!

This was our third stay at Tonya & Troys. We love the shops and restaurants in and around Hendersonville and after several visits to the area have found no better place to stay. After shopping we always come back and enjoy sitting on the porch and reading. The rooms are always spotless and so comfortable. They are wonderful host and we promise we will be staying again.

The pictures do not lie. The rooms are roomy & comfortable & the whole place is neat & clean. The view out the windows & doors is beautiful. The owner is helpful & concerned that your stay is good & you have no problems. We had nothing but a wonderful stay and look forward to staying again. Highly recommended!

Our family spent time in the Asheville/ Hendersonville/ Rutherfordton area over the last 30 years. A lot has changed in 30 years...birth of children, loss of elders, immediate families have evolved to extended families but Life is still always beautiful. My ex mother in law recently lost her husband and wanted to come back to the area where we had so many memories for her birthday. We had an amazing visit. Our hosts gave us our privacy. The accommodations were very spacious and comfortable. The mountains in the background and the apple orchard in the foreground was like being in a fairytale.

Wonderful Property in every way. Will be trying to stay there every time we visit Hendersonville to visit our children and Grandson. Having stayed at many, many VRBO's this is easily the nicest and best furnished facility we've stayed at. Very well stocked with cooking needs.

The location of the VRBO was great. We were about 10 min from downtown Hendersonville. And we had to drive through an apple orchard to get to the VRBO. And your have multiple orchids close. The view of the mountains was great and only a little noise from the road. There is a little walk to the front door (maybe 30-40 yds) up hill which unloading can be a workout but the host will assist if needed. We would visit again. Hendersonville is a great town. A visit to Jeter Mountain Farms is a must.

This space was absolutely stunning. The view of the orchard and mountains was truly indescribable. My children and dog loved the yard! 10/10 would stay here again and again! I had a very relaxing and comfortable visit at this lovely VRBO home and property. It is neat and clean, well stocked, and has a beautiful view of the nearby mountains. Tonya was very quick to respond to any questions I had, before and after, my arrival - and was very kind and accommodating in regard to my own, personal, circumstances. I would readily choose to stay again, and would highly recommend this property to family and friends.

Beautiful piece of property, gorgeous view, inside is very nice and was clean, driving onto property brought me back to my grandparents apple orchard in WV, only negative issue I had is I sleep with a TV on and there was none in the bedroom, definitely not a deal breaker and most definitely will keep this stay on the radar again. We really needed to get away and relax. This was the perfect place for that. It is quiet, scenic and comfortable. The mountain views made sitting on the porch a real treat. The location is great as it provides easy access to Hendersonville, Asheville and towns north, like Mars Hill. Highly recommend this place.

We had a little snag with checkin and wifi, but we reached the only immediately, and she promptly fixed the issue. We didn’t get to spend much time as we had a full schedule off-site. But this place has everything you could ever need. The view is beautiful, and I loved being in the orchard. Better than advertised when I saw all of the kitchen supplies.

The area around Hendersonville NC is very beautiful and our stay with VRBO was just as nice. Great view of the mountains, many amenities which came with our lodging, and the location was 10 minutes from downtown Hville. A perfect stay, we will return.
