Everyone is Welcome at Silver Tree Cabin and pets always stay free! Please know the cabin is sanitized after every guest from countertops to door knobs.
Just a few minutes drive from the lake, this charming log cabin is nestled on a private 3.2 acre wooded ridge (paved road) overlooking the beautiful mountains of Hickory Nut Gorge. This is the perfect getaway for those looking for a serene and natural atmosphere, while still only minutes from the beautiful resort town of Lake Lure and Chimney Rock.

The cabin offers two bedrooms and two baths with a futon and full bed on the lower level game room for additional sleeping. You will enjoy beautiful mountain views from the spacious wrap-around decks with gas grill, hammock, and rocking chairs. The full kitchen has everything you need for a romantic dinner for two or a family feast. The living room has a 32' television with satellite programming, DVD library, Wi-Fi Internet connection and a cozy gas fireplace.

After a busy day of sight-seeing, relax in the game room with Foosball, darts, a second TV/DVD player, board games & stereo.

The kitchen is fully stocked with plenty of dishes and utensils as well as a microwave, toaster and coffee bar. On pleasant afternoons you may choose to cook on the gas grill on the deck. You can enjoy your meal on the deck or at the oak dining table overlooking the deck through sliding doors.

The basement game room provides fun for all ages with a competition grade foosball table, darts and beautiful log bar. You can also step out on the lower deck and enjoy the views. This room also contains a futon and full bed for additional sleeping.

Whether you’re looking for family fun or a romantic get-away, Lake Lure has something for everyone. Nearby you’ll can enjoy golfing, boating, hiking, shopping, numerous outdoor activities and much more.

Amenities: Game room with foosball and darts, gas fireplace, wrap-around deck with view, gas grill, washer and dryer, 27' television with satellite programming, DVD player and DVD library, stereo.

Host has thought of everything between extra sheets, extra blankets, beach coolers, extra soaps (if you happened to forget yours), extra towels, dog toys....everything! This is our first time renting on VRBO and I will have to say we have very high expectations going further. We drove in from Michigan and after telling Wayne we wouldn't be in until around 7pm he made sure the property manager left some lights on for us in case we came in after dark. This cabin is absolutely beautiful and would LOVE to come back soon!!! 10/10 would recommend!!

We were pleasantly surprised as the cabin was even better than described on VRBO. The bed was so comfortable and we had a large walk-in closet The kitchen was the most stocked of any place we have ever stayed. We took our 2 fur babies. The back yard was fenced in and our larger dog enjoyed it. The fireplace was perfect. Overall it was a great value and we would definitely stay again. The owner should be very proud of this cabin.

The cabin was more than what we expected. It looked amazing from the listing but when you get there the comfort and coziness hits you from the moment you walk in. Everything you need and everything you’d want for a getaway with the family. Quiet and peaceful during the day and nights! Not too far from some main attractions and parks. My pup loved it and so did the family.

Had a perfect stay at Wayne’s cabin!! Comfy and cozy cabin with everything you could need. Super clean! Kitchen has everything you need for cooking. Beds are comfy. Wayne thought of everything. Great guidebook for area. Great location….Ingles and Lake Lure restaurants are very close by. Beautiful and peaceful views from the decks. Wish we could’ve stayed longer. Highly recommended!!!

This was a wonderful cabin to stay in, the location, privacy and the accommodations were great. We really enjoyed the comfort of the cabin. The location, privacy and the extras were really great. We really enjoyed the comfort of the cabin, the amazing view from the cabin, and the feeling of being so remote yet so close to everything. It is a wonderful property, and Wayne has done a great job with it! We will be renting it again this summer.

Cabin had enough sleeping space for 8. I was able to hide from my dogs and a get a couple of good nights of sleep in the hideaway queen in the basement. Wayne was super friendly when I was asking for information on things to do around there. Property was very pet friendly with fenced in yard and our dogs enjoyed being there. Cabin's location was great,close to Lake lure and Chimney rock. We'll be back here

The cabin had an amazing wrap around porch which was perfect for our dog. The yard was a little steep for him to play, but the roads are perfect for taking a nice hike. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with more than anything we needed. Owner was friendly and responsive to our needs. There always local green space we visited twice with our dog which was a lovely place. We would recommend this cabin to others; it was time of pure relaxing.
