Mountaintop Home with Fantastic Views

Beautiful mountaintop home in Saluda, NC. Six large bedrooms which sleeps up to 15 people. Home is beautiful, inside and out. Large kitchen and dining areas. Great stone fireplace and the views are beautiful!

Large gameroom includes pool table, large screen TV, stereo system, and poker table. Home is kid friendly with a separate playroom and a crib. Kitchen is fully equipped and linens are provided. Pets will be considered. Please call for requirements.

Multi-level deck with great views!

Downtown Saluda is just a couple of miles away with great restaurants, antique shops, and a fantastic park. Historic Hendersonville is a short drive and you can be in Asheville or at the Biltmore House in half an hour.

Everything was wonderful! We had ample space for everyone, the kitchen was fully stocked, the views were amazing! We stayed the week of Christmas, and the house was beautifully decorated including a tree! My new granddaughter and all of my kids and grands had a wonderful Christmas.Check in/out were super simple.Thank you!

Great house, playroom for toddlers was awesome! Views were amazing. Great host. I would recommend some more outside lighting my mother in law fell coming into house too many leaves covering porch. Also we had trouble with fire alarm it wouldn’t turn off one morning after we made bacon, but we really did have a great time and loved the house.

Wonderful house and location was great. Children (ages 4-12) enjoyed riding bikes down the gravel road that was not open to thru traffic and loved making s’mores on the deck. Small girls loved the playroom and all of the toys. Kitchen was well equipped with everything you could possibly need. In addition, the house had plenty of room to spread out. We are already talking about when we can come back!

Relaxing mountain vacation

The mountain view was a delight daily! There was a "porch/sunroom/toy room" which was wonderful for our grandson. We cooked most nights and the kitchen was well stocked with equipment. Saluda was friendly and the restaurants and shops were great. We travelled to other towns conveniently as well.I would definitely it recommend for large families!

What a perfect place for a family getaway! We fit 7 adults, 8 children, and 3 cars with room to spare. The mountain views are incredible! The house is comfortable, well-appointed, and feels even bigger than it looks in the photos. There’s plenty of room for relaxing, chatting, cooking, and eating for a large group. Each family had plenty of space to spread out. Our littles, ages 5 months - 6 years, especially enjoyed the playroom. We enjoyed cooking family meals in the large kitchen. If you’re wondering, the house is an easy 9-minute drive up from town, no 4-wheel drive needed. Michelle, the owner, is an excellent communicator and helped resolve issues with the internet and dishwasher quickly. We are already discussing plans to stay again. Yay!

Perfect Family Time

Awesome place for family!

You can look out on beautiful views from everywhere in the house and on the multiple decks. The playroom was really nice for toddlers. There was a lot of cookware and plenty of towels. There were also a lot of spices which we appreciated. Saluda is a really cute town!

Wonderful Reunion

We arrived at different times from different directions. Everything was nice and inviting. The view from this home is amazing. Beds were made and very comfortable. We loved exploring nearby towns. It was a very enjoyable weekend. The owner was very responsive and considerate. I would highly recommend this VRBO.

Perfect house!

The view is amazing! 6 large bedrooms and 1 additional sleeping area. Many areas to hang out, play games, or watch TV. All you need is your clothes and food as house has everything else you need. We will be back for sure.

Beautiful Views

This property was very clean and had beautiful views. We had a group of 9 adults and there was room for everyone to spread out. The kitchen was very well stocked and we were able to cook meals there. We had plenty of room for everyone to eat together at the table. There were plenty of dishes, glasses, coffee mugs, silverware. There was a double coffeepot which was really nice to have. The property is also close to the town of Saluda and not too far from Hendersonville. We were able to bring our dogs, which was a huge plus. There was plenty of parking for our 4 cars. We had issues with the water and the owner responded to communication quickly. The check in and check out processes were easy. The cons were: we were without water a night and a morning and had to wait at the house for the repairmen to fix it. Also, some of the mattresses are older and not very comfortable. All of the remote batteries were dead so we had to buy some to be able to watch tv. There is a window in the master bedroom porch that just fell open on its own and was difficult to close. Overall, it is a good property and we enjoyed our time there. It just needs a little TLC.

Wonderful Mountain Vacation

The house is amazing. The view is beautiful. We spent most of our time relaxing, but there are plenty of things to do. The playroom was such an amazing plus and the game room is really nice. The bedrooms are great. We found the Palmetto State Trail and had a nice hike. The house is close enough to the beautiful town of Hendersonville. We took a day trip to Biltmore. The town of Saluda is a great little mountain town to spend some time in. Highly recommend Greenriver BBQ.

Wow! The views!

The house and location were great! Plenty of room for the 9 of us which included children under the age of 5. The house had bed rails and a crib if needed which was a nice surprise. The owner set up a huge Christmas tree which Santa left a lot of gifts under for the children. The directions to the house were spot on. The property is very dark so be careful going outside at night. If I had to list a few cons it would be the water presser in the kitchen and laundry room and the pillows in some of the bedrooms. Those were easy work arounds and we will definitely be back!

Wonderful Trip

My family and I had an amazing time on our vacation. The views from the cabin were spectacular, the rooms were perfect, and the amenities (pool table, deck, fireplace) were great for what we needed. There was even a toy room which my nieces loved. Michelle was extremely accommodating and responsive during an unfortunate predicament one of my family members ended up in. It was close enough to different hiking trails and not too far from Asheville for a day in the city. Overall, I would highly recommend this cabin and stay to everyone!

A beautiful view

A group of 8 ladies who like to play cards stayed here for 3 nights. The views were absolutely beautiful and we had a wonderful time. The only complaint was that we could have used more dish towels, but it was no big deal. It was a lovely house with some art that we loved. I would stay here again without hesitation!

Saluda getaway

Beautiful setting at the end of a paved road, which continued onto a gravel road, wonderful for dog walking and listening to the quiet. Only down sides, there had been a large group before us, and the cleaning people were still there, and not finished until an hour after our arrival time; cleaning was inadequate- there were still gummy bears and kibble on the floor, dropped potato chip crumbs at the foot of the couch. while the kitchen is plentiful in utensils, all the knives were dented and dull- so bring your own. The decks need attention as well. Otherwise, wonderful setting, perfect for family vacation.

Great place

This was a great place. We had a small family reunion, and the house was perfect. Perfect number of rooms, and the bed arrangements worked for us. The teens loved the downstairs game room. There is a nice playroom with lots of kids toys that wasn’t listed in the description. Our kids were too old, but if we had been traveling with younger kids, we would have loved this feature. Everything was well stocked, and check in/out was easy. The host went above and beyond for us when one of our teens left some items behind. They were shipped back to us right away. Great place, great service.
