At an elevation of 840 m in the idyllic high valley of Hintergschwendt between Aschau and Bernau, you can enjoy peace and quiet, nature, and a breathtaking mountain backdrop between the Kampenwand and Lake Chiemsee. Shops and restaurants can be found in the nearby towns. A communal garden with wooden lounge chairs, an outdoor seating area, a barbecue area, and a fire pit invites you to relax. In the basement, you’ll find a sauna, two pieces of fitness equipment (a treadmill and an exercise bike), coin-operated washer/dryer, a storage room, a drying room with ski storage, and a lounge with table tennis, foosball, darts, billiards, a game corner, and seating. Wi-Fi and parking are free of charge. Pets are not allowed. You can conveniently order a bread roll delivery service (limited in winter) yourself.

The alpine charm combined with clean, modern furnishings creates an atmosphere where families, couples, and solo travelers immediately feel at home. The quietly located apartment, featuring vinyl flooring, has two bedrooms: one with a double bed (180×200 cm) and another with a bunk bed and a single bed (each 90×200 cm). The open-concept living area, featuring a couch, dining area, flat-screen TV, and Bluetooth speaker, flows directly into the fully equipped kitchen—which includes an oven, induction cooktop, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer compartment, Nespresso machine, kettle, and toaster. A yoga mat and a Blackroll are available for moments of relaxation or physical activity. High-speed Wi-Fi enables both streaming and remote work. The large balcony, bathed in evening sun and featuring a small seating area, invites you to wind down the day in peace. The bathroom is equipped with a bathtub, toilet, and hair dryer. The nearby Chiemsee—affectionately known as the “Bavarian Sea”—is just about a ten-minute drive away and offers a wide range of options for steamboat cruises, such as a visit to Herrenchiemsee Palace and the idyllic Fraueninsel, as well as water sports and relaxing days at the beach.
