"Everything super nice, clean, pleasant, and thoughtful. Yola did a great job at check-in. The tents are 5-10 minutes nice walk from the beach. There is a nice family/dining room with Icelandic traditional deco for dinner or just hanging out. The showers and kitchen were clean and well equipped. Yola is knowledgeable and helpful if you want to do activities in the area. Thank you, we had a great stay! "

"Hotel Grimsborgir is located near the kerid crater. It was my intention to visit the crater as soon as it opened in the morning, but I got a little impatient and couldn’t wait (it didn’t open until 10 am). That’s on me, though, for being the way that I am. The location is perfect for those who are traveling along the Golden circle and wish to further explore the area. There is also a lookout/view point nearby that overlooks the river, along with a beautiful view of the hills and beyond. It is...

"The host is a fantastic person. We were kind of lost, instead of the guesthouse we were at the apartments and fortunately we met the host at the apartments. She took us to the guesthouse - driving alongside us, provided us with food items and her daughter-in-law provided with list of place to see. Rooms were great. Best part was the cleanliness. We were provided with house slippers. There were 2 dogs that were friendly and greeted the visitors..fantastic and loved it a lot. Thanks!"

"Lovely remote farm outside of Selfoss. Close to Golden Circle. We caught the Northern lights. Helena was friendly and welcoming. We missed her 6pm goat tour but hope to come back again. "

"Wonderful host! Kristin was on site making sure our check in went very smooth and provided an excellent restaurant recommendation for dinner. Very conveniently located to, restaurants, groceries and gas. One of the cleanest homes I’ve stayed in. Full size washer and dryer in the unit was amazing for our family of five after traveling for a few days. Home overlooks a beautiful river. Highly recommend this place for your stay in Selfoss!"
