The best place and host ever! You have everything and the host is available to host. It’s a 10 star place. Enjoy the cabin atmosphere here. It’s the perfect placement for fun and adventure. It’s also perfect for just relaxing and enjoying the overall experience.

We had the most wonderful and relaxing stay at this magical cabin. It was spotlessly clean and well appointed with all the things needed for a vacation in the woods (games, movies, kitchen ready for cooking, comfy beds and a deck in the front waiting for a daily morning coffee (weather permitting). The location puts it perfectly between Arnold and Bear Valley within close distance to a general store and a great restaurant right down the road while still being an easy drive to Murphys. Making the stay even better were the two unexpected snowstorms that blanketed everything and just made the trip even more special. Michelle the host made everything from check in to check out smooth and easy. We had no problem getting into the cabin and there was minimal (just lock up) check out expectations. I can’t say enough about this property and will definitely book again!

The good :- great proximity to Calaveras big trees park - house was in a pretty area with lots of trees. It was quite not difficult to find. Maps directions led us right to the house.- hot water in the bathrooms were greatThe bad : - very old and uncomfortable furniture ( couches and beds ). Watch out for shaky entry steps and dining table too.- for summer visit, it was suffocatingly hot inside the house throughout the day. There is no AC and poor ventilation. We tried to stay out of the house for most of the stay but the night was still super uncomfortable. None of us got good sleep both due to high temperature and uncomfortable beds. - WiFi connection was pretty bad too.
