Cable railway takes visitors to Pigra, a balcony on the lake, ideal to start walking tours. Argegno is connected to all the beautiful pearls of the lake by a public transport: Bellagio, Villa Carlotta (botanical garden), Villa Balbianello. Argegno is 25 minutes driving from Menaggio, with is famous Lido, and cars/passengers ferryboat which takes visitors to the other famous Golden triangle towns of Varenna and Bellagio. In 20 minutes you can reach Como town which offers high street shopping, cafes, bars and restaurants. The famous Duomo, Volta Museum, Palazzo Broletto, Villa Olmo with its year round art and musical events are just some of the place that you can visit. On the way to Como you can stop to the lakeside towns of Carate Urio, Laglio and Cernobbio with their peaceful charm and elegant villas and gardens can be explored at your leisure.
