Apple Canyon Lake Home, Life At The Lake

If you're looking for a peaceful retreat in a quiet and family-oriented neighborhood, this is the perfect home for you. This home backs up to the lake and public docks. Also, a 10 minute drive from the Oak Hill Farm wedding venue.

Home sits in a remote community with access to a 480-acre lake great for pan/bass/walleye fishing. Walk down to the lake, public docks, or 13 mile trail right from the backyard. Amenities include a pool, golf course, scenic 13-mile gravel trail, pickle ball courts, relax at the beach, or enjoy lakefront dining. This home is in close proximity to the Apple River State Park or Galena where you can shop, relax at a day spa, or visit a local winery.

Home has a backyard built-in fire pit, supplied wood, lawn chairs, board games, toys, foosball, air hockey, and corn hole. Towels, linins, cookware, grill, silverware, dishes, pack n play, high chair, fishing poles, all included, just pack your food/bags, and enjoy this peaceful, family retreat.

There are 4 total bedrooms. 3 bedrooms with queen size beds and 1 additional room with 4 single beds (bunkbed style for kids.) There's a bathroom off of the master bedroom, a common bathroom on the main floor, and another full size bath in the lower level next to the 4th bedroom.

We have high speed, 5G, internet access and Roku, Netflix, and YouTube for additional entertainment.

This home is in a great location and within walking distance of many amenities offered at Apple Canyon.

Out of respect for our neighbors, we discourage bachelor and bachelorette parties. Driveway parking available.

Lake House Retreat

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. The beds were very comfortable, the house was well stocked with everything you may need and was located in a very nice area with a pretty lake view! We would love to stay here again sometime!

Wonderful home

We were in town for a wedding at Oak Hill and this place was perfect. The dining room and living room were great for hosting family before the wedding. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. Jim was very responsive to my questions. Would like to stay again when we have more time to enjoy the outdoor areas.

The home was big enough for 6 adults and 1 baby. We were in town for my daughters wedding. The venue was 15 minutes away. Galena was about 35 minutes away. Downtown Galena is a cute area.Overall it was a nice stay

Great family retreat

Great spot for families . Lots of room, the pontoon boat and lake was a walk away and the community pool was super fun with its amenities. Closest grocery store is about 20 minutes away, but Jeff had lots of essentials like shampoo, dish soap, spices, baggies, etc. didn’t have to buy as many essentials.

Great little spot!

Exactly what we were looking for! Plenty of room for our two families to sleep - the kids loved the bunk room. The home is well appointed with everything you could need in the kitchen, a plethora of games, movies, fun stuff like foosball and shuffle board. Excellent location - you can walk to the lake from the back yard. The Apple Canyon pool and beach are great. Can't wait to come back!
