  • Greencroft, a self contained apartment that is part of a larger home, is sure to surprise with its spacious, simple elegance, classic furnishings, high ceilings and sunny warmth.. Come and enjoy the warm ambivalence. From the walled entry with parking off street to the tiled patio you will be part of a private, relaxed living space. It includes a modern kitchenette with microwave and electric frypan cooking facilities.
    Fairview, a 18 hole championship golf course is on your doorstep. Nature delivers here with a sweeping mountain backdrop to the course and a winding river valley. The Fairview cafe is a short stroll away and with Katikati township a 5 minute drive the visitor is well catered for. Katikati with its famous historical murals and Haiku pathway is sure to please. Along with Tauranga and Mount Maunganui with its shopping, walking trails, biking and beaches within 30 minutes Greencroft offers the complete package for a get away.
    Katikati is 2 hours from Auckland airport on State Highway 2.
    Ideal for Swallows from UK and Europe- Negotiation of rental encouraged. Enjoy our Southern hemisphere summer. Play golf and enjoy our communty.

Runaway for a wake

Great for a couples runaway. I especially liked running for an hour on the golf course. The wake we attended was very well catered so being able to run on golf course was welcome.

The hosts were excellent and very hospitable to say the least. The unit was absolutely superb with every detail thought of. It was lovely and clean and very comfortable. Pool and surrounding area was very inviting. We would highly recommendthis property.

Delighted us far beyond our expectations!

Carol and Rex were excellent hosts. They helped when needed but otherwise gave us our privacy. The unit was exceptional. Clean, large king bed, large bathroom w/ separate tub and shower - great water pressure! Lovely living/ sitting area and they even made their outdoor available to us. We hope to return again in 2025 for another month. Thank you Carol and Rex! Kia Ora until we meet again..

Easter at Katikati

We found this property as described, warm clean and cozy. The pool was a bonus, the house is set in a lovely quiet safe neighbourhood just down the road from Katikati and 40 minutes from Tauranga

Loved it very much. Fabulous owners.

A special place indeed. Carol had put out hot cross buns with butter and lovely toppings. Pool was gorgeous. Better for 2 persons who share the delectable bed. Tuscany throughout. Massive bathroom. Small kitchenette with the laundary. Everything there.

A beautiful property close to Katikai. Close to amenities. Tastefully decorated with lots of personal touches. Bed really comfortable . Enormous bathroom with a bath to soothe the aches and pains away. Thank you Carol and Rex for sharing your beautiful home with us.
