"Super nice B&B in the welsh countryside... as close to a town (Ammanford) as you would want but far enough away to be rural. Rooms (we have stayed there twice in the past month) are really rather nice, showers have plenty of hot water and the hosts, Jane and Nigel, serve a breakfast that keeps you going for the rest of the day"

"I am sorry to say that the property was not what I expected. The area to park in was chaotic with cars parked all over the place so when I arrived after a traumatic journey, I was trying to find a place to park in the pitch black with no lights apart from my car lights. The room was not hoovered. The ‘kitchenette’ was dangerous due to the curtains being close to the air fryer. The toilet seat was loose, broken. There was barely a hello from the owner and he watched as I struggled in the rain...

"This was an excellent find. We stayed 1 night in the “attic” room, which met all our needs. The entry instructions and directions to the property were also very clear. An added bonus was the local pub “The Torbay”, which was surprisingly busy for a Tuesday. The food was great. The self serve continental breakfast was fine. "Rubbish was found all over the floor (plastic nails, bottle of water under the dressing table, half eaten cookie), bed extremely uncomfortable, food in the restaurant salty(when sent back the tone was like I was asking for more food, rather than trying to rectify error politely), no idea how this place is 4star, would never go back. Spa just re-opened after refurb, but works still going on, debri everywhere, smell of silicone in the changing room revolting. Staff on reception and spa lovely. "

"The room did the job - but numerous issues. Missing some basic necessities like a bedside light. Had to use the public wifi from the bar downstairs which was choppy at best. The problems started right from the beginning. Check in according to the website was 10:00pm. But at 8:30pm I had a message saying I wouldn't be able to check in after 9 as the bar shuts at that point. I was on a train so unable to get there for that time, and somebody very kindly stayed to let me in, but they still...
