"We stayed for 2 weeks, whilst the rest of the country had a heat wave, we had a couple of nice days and the rest was misty and windy. However, the house exceeded our expectations being warm, comfortable and had everything you could need - really high quality furnishings etc. Fantastic views from the house and the patio area and walks from the doorstep. "We had a wonderful stay of one week in this absolute lovely house whith its overwhelming surrounding landcape. Such a good atmosphere, very cosy and very welcoming. We enjoyed hikes and walks and sightseeing in the region, best informed by the leaflets and maps in the house. "The house overlooks Loch Erisort in a beautiful, quiet setting. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortably furnished with a better equipped kitchen than is found in many rental properties. We found it a good location for visiting Stornoway, the west coast of Lewis, and Harris. The local area to the south and east is also worth exploring. We had a meal at the local hotel which was pleasant, but, we thought pretty expensive, so wouldn’t really recommend that. "
