Starting in the summer of 2026, we’ll warmly welcome you and your family: Four spacious, high-quality, and lovingly furnished vacation apartments await you—perfect for families seeking peace and quiet, nature, and an authentic farm experience. Here you can feed the animals, pet the ponies, collect eggs, or simply play outside and enjoy nature. This is where we live—in beautiful Chiemgau, in the Rosenheim district, right between Munich and Salzburg, in the idyllic village of Amerang. Our little hamlet is called Surau, and here you’ll enjoy absolute peace and seclusion. No fences, no through traffic—just meadows, fields, and forests. We live here with respect for nature and our animals, and we run our farm with a lot of heart. Stressed out by everyday life? Not enough time or breathing room? Then it’s time for a little break! Here, you can play together as a family, go for runs, climb, get to know the animals, and explore farm life. Just enjoy spending time together. A large fleet of go-karts, pedal bulldogs, and Bobby Cars is just waiting for you to try them out. Right from the farm, you can go for wonderful bike rides, take walks, or simply enjoy nature. The Suranger Inn is just 3 km away, Amerang is about 6 km away, and the beautiful old town of Wasserburg am Inn is only 13 km away—perfect for a family outing. While you’ll need a car, you’ll get to experience our peaceful, undisturbed country life—right in the heart of nature, with plenty of space for kids and lots of time for the family.
Abendrot – Upper Floor, Cozy and Spacious for the Whole Family The “Abendrot” vacation rental is located on the upper floor and offers plenty of space across a generous 100 m² for a relaxing family vacation. The apartment faces south, allowing you to enjoy a magnificent, unobstructed view of the natural surroundings. The centerpiece of the apartment is the fireplace, which creates a particularly cozy atmosphere on cooler days. The two bedrooms are ideally laid out: One is furnished with a comfortable double bed and an additional single bed (100x200 cm), while the second features a comfortable double bed. A special highlight is the spacious balcony. From here—and also from the bedrooms—you can enjoy the wonderful evening atmosphere. The bathroom is a small oasis of relaxation with a bathtub and a walk-in shower featuring a rain showerhead. To ensure that you and your children can enjoy a restful night’s sleep at all times, all windows are equipped with blackout blinds. The apartment also includes a fully equipped kitchen where you’ll find everything you need. In addition to an electric stove, induction cooktop, dishwasher, refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker, electric kettle, and hand mixer, the basic amenities also include a SodaStream and a special water filtration system for osmosis and activated water. Of course, family-friendly extras such as a crib, high chair, safety gate, and changing pad are available for your use. We warmly invite you to feed our animals with your children in the morning, relax in the guest garden, or explore nature right outside your door. In the surrounding area, you’ll also find numerous attractive destinations for day trips, such as the Oberreith Wildlife Park or the historic old town of Wasserburg. We look forward to seeing you! We’re so glad you’re here! We’re Kathi and Mane. We live here together with our three children and my parents, and we run our farm with a great deal of heart and passion. Three generations bring our farm to life, make it cozy, and turn it into a place where children can play to their heart’s content, discover nature, and simply be kids.
