Sunset Apartment- Peaceful Country Setting- Reasonable Distance to Hocking Hills

Located within reasonable distance to the Hocking Hills State Parks. This peaceful country setting is located on a small farm just outside the quaint little town of Tarlton. Surrounded by 16 acres.... over half of it is wooded with trails to explore. While here take time to breathe deeply of God's fresh country air and enjoy the opportunity to unwind from your daily pressures.
APARTMENT:
Sunset Apartment is located out in our barn on the far right. It has 2 bedrooms on the second floor, (with a staircase) one bedroom with a queen bed and one bedroom with a full bed. It will sleep 4 comfortably, but we do allow 5 people. It has 1 bathroom on the main floor with a tile shower. Just outside the bathroom is a washer and a dryer also a closet with a cot, folding chairs, games, magazines, and extra pillows and blankets. We provide towels and linens. There is a fully furnished kitchen a small table with 4 chairs, a bar with 2 stools. The living area has 1 couch. Complimentary coffee and a few snacks.
OUTDOORS:
Farm animals. (Miniature horses, cows at times, Snowball the cat) Backyard Patio with a fire pit and a removable grill. Playground area. Hammock and Dbl. lawn swing. Above ground pool during the summer months. Trails throughout the woods. Another fire pit back in our wooded area.
CELL SERVICE/TECHNOLOGY: We have Starlink Internet with the smart TV connected to it. Bring your own TV subscriptions. There is also a Samsung DVD player (bring your favorite DVDs). We have Spectrum phones, which use Verizon towers and do pretty good. Inside the apt. cell service isn’t the greatest because of the metal building. Connect to the internet and do WiFi calling. We do encourage a break from technology to totally unwind.
ADDITIONAL:
Country Lane Lodging also offers another vacation apartment at this location that sleeps 5 with 2 beds. Sunrise Apartment is located above our 3-car garage. (google Sunrise Apt. Tarlton, OH - VRBO link)
LOCATION:
We are located 45 minutes southeast of Columbus, 20 minutes from Circleville the home of the Pumpkin Show, 25 minutes from Tecumseh (outdoor drama) and 15-20 minutes to Rock House one of the Hocking Hills State Parks. There is a IGA with fuel and groceries, a Dollar General with groceries and a few small diners in Tarlton just a few minutes from here. And plenty more to do to keep you busy for a number of days. Come enjoy God’s beautiful creation!

The host was very accommodating and understanding. The apartment was exactly what we needed, 15 min from our daughters wedding venue. The beautiful scenery and the farm was just a bonus. We will definitely be back whenever we visit my daughters new family. Maybe next time we will be able to enjoy the amenities more.

Third time staying here. Its beautiful, peaceful, clean, friendly hosts, welcoming. What a wonderful weekend getaway. We were able to hike, visit, enjoy the horses and Snowball the cat, play games, relax by the fire and eat lots of good food! We definitely will be back for a fourth time! The property and home itself were spotless and felt just like you were coming home to relax! The amenities inside, the recreations outside, and the mini horses were all the things needed to just take a deep breath and enjoy the time away from the real world, 10/10 from my child. The owners were readily available and provided help for my questions in a timely manner, so helpful and yet respectful to give you privacy while you stay at their home!

We stayed for a girls weekend to hike hocking hills, it was a great location! We really enjoyed watching the ponies from the porch every morning and the cute diner just a mile down the road. Service was not great and the WiFi only worked outside but that’s okay, it was a great way for us to reconnect and truly enjoy each others company!

This is a truly beautiful property, and we thoroughly enjoyed the aesthetics of the home. The hosts were exceptional – not only were they great to communicate with, but they were also extremely responsive to any questions we had. The bathroom was spotless, and the basic bedrooms provided a comfortable night's rest. The only downsides were the very poor WiFi signal (nearly non-existent both indoors and out) and the non-functional TV. We highly recommend the property for its beauty and the wonderful hosts, but guests should be prepared for limited internet access.

This is a beautidul property about 30 minutes from Hocking Hills. It is quiet and secluded, whoch is great for a romantic get-away. Only 2 downfalls. 1. The bed is a little hard for my taste and 2. The internet commection is really bad, but we were getting away from the outside world, so that didn't bother us. The hosts are so kind and friendly. They allowed an early checkin and a delayed chexk-out. They alao had snacks and coffee waiting for us. I would choose this place again if we come back to visit Hockimg Hills.

Great location

The place was exactly as pictured. Property was beautiful. The host emailed maps and things to do in the area. I esp like the map that listed the length of the hikes so you could plan the day. The bedrooms were upstairs so if someone wants to stay up and watch TV it won't disturb the rest of the fam. Thank you for a great stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Sunset Appartment. The beautiful and quiet location had everything we needed. And the place and vast grounds are spotlessly clean. We came to hike and unplug so the lack of cell service and internet wasn’t a big deal. Great memories were made on our mini spring break

Another great stay

This is our second time staying in this apartment. We love it. Clean and cozy, and a perfect location. We will stay again!Our only issue was that the mobile reception is non-existent (T-Mobile) and the wifi was set up strangely and therefore impractically slow. I don't remember this from last time.

The property is so clean and peaceful. There was a small problem with the heater and it was taken care of quickly. If you are looking for reliable Wi-Fi procBably not the place. If it is relaxation and quiet this is the spot

Excellent Hosts with a Beautiful Property

Our experience in the Sunset Apartment was wonderful. Communication with our hosts was wonderful, and they graciously allowed us to use their fire pit as well. They have a beautiful property and if you get the opportunity to stay in one of their rentals, we highly recommend it!
