"The cottage is lovely. Nice bathroom, good kitchen which is well equipped. Stunning garden. Comfy bed and bed linen. Lovely little extras like wine, tea, coffee and bread which we really appreciated. Just a little remote and far from the coast for us, especially in poor weather. Try the Running Fox at the Plough in Powburn. Excellent food. "

"Absolutely love the property and the location ! Ideal for families of all ages . Great size property and lovely garden . We had everything we needed .We hope to be back again next spring to do some more exploring of the wonderful coastline .we even saw some dolphins from the jolly fisherman beer garden !!Highly recommend this property.10/10"

"Excellent cottage in great location, very close to town but quietly tucked away. Everything you need for a stay, all fixtures and fittings of good quality. Only minor niggle is limited windows that open and shower was very slow to drain otherwise highly recommended."

"An excellent four days. The house is roomy and furniture very comfortable. Parking in the drive was easy. Well stocked kitchen - pans, crockery, cutlery etc. The attractive village and two very diverse but excellent pubs serving food are a short walk from the house.Liz was an excellent communicator responding quickly with answers to questions. She has provided plenty of information about how things work in the house. Would recommend. Thanks Liz. "

"Glebe Cottage was a lovely place to stay. The location was superb with views out to sea from the cottage and hot tub. The cottage was well appointed and very clean. I read other people’s reviews so brought some scissors. Bonus of having electric car chargers right outside the cottage. It’s really thoughtful of the owners to mow the edges of the fields so you can easily walk to the coast or to Embleton village without going on the road. Only downside for me personally was that I didn’t find the...

"Very comfortable and well equipped apartment for 2 people. In a great location in Alnwick with the additional benefit of parking close by. Many attractions of Northumberland within easy driving distance of Alnwick. Alnwick Castle itself is a must visit during your stay."
