We as a family of 10 had a fantastic holiday at this villa. A beautiful swimming pool a great outside eating area and a well equipped kitchen. The villa is typically Spanish and has a lovely warm homely feel to it. The views across the mountains are spectacular, it’s in a rural setting with lots of privacy. Check in and out was excellent Linda was there waiting for us a lovely lady who lives nearby. Beds very comfortable lots of towels and a nice welcome pack of essentials including wine was waiting for us. I would highly recommend this villa The description is exactly spot on Thankyou Annie

Lovely villa, remote enough to be away from the hustle of the local resorts but the coast was easily accessible by car within 35 minutes - being in the mountains was amazing, and the villa was enjoyed by all.The pre welcome was perfect and Check in was simple, Linda showed us around and made a great job of welcoming us.A great sized outside area with a fantastic pool which overlooks a stunning Mountain View. All bedrooms have air con, and the villa felt cool enough anyway. We spent most of our time in the lovely kitchen area and of course out in the sunshine.The only downside was I got stung my own fault for grabbing a ping pong ball where a wasp was - you’re surrounded by nature in the mountains so worth remembering that next time! Overall a fantastic stay in a superb location, and a villa big enough for our group of 7.

Lovely villa

This villa was perfect for our holiday. The outside area is amazing and our teenagers loved the pool. Seating area and eating area were great for our group of 9 to socialise together. Kitchen utensils a little dirty and tired but plenty of them. All rooms having bathrooms was great as were 2 lots of towels. Would highly recommend

Top class property

We take a large villa in Spain annually for family and friends and look for a quality property in a reasonably remote area but with a supermarket within easy reach. The Finca Los Martinez certainly ticked all the boxes on paper and we were delighted that it lived up to its listing in reality. It’s set in a stunning location with views to die for. The pool is one of the best we have had - a real must as the temps soared through 40c on a couple of days. The villa is extremely comfortable with aircon in every bedroom (all en suite) and very well equipped. The kitchen/dining area is spacious and leads directly out to a fabulous dining area comfortably seating ten. We enjoyed the bbq and there was a special space for our sundowners at the end of the day. The charming village of Almogia is five minutes away with bars, an easy and reliable bus service to the centre of Malaga and a great little supermarket which served us well for our two weeks. There is an incredible restaurant heading north for fifteen minutes run by ‘Paco’. This part of Spain has had precious little water in recent times and we had to manage our water supply carefully - thankfully the property has its own ‘deposito’ so we had plenty in reserve. The owner Annie and manager Kelly (assisted by Geoff and Charlton) couldn’t have been more helpful and assured that we had one of our best family holidays ever! I highly recommend the Finca in every respect if you are looking for a peaceful, private and exclusive break.

Spacious house in a quiet rural area

Lots of space inside and outside, and that was what we were looking for, including a beautiful panoramic view. Too bad about the wasp infestation, unfortunately it didn't turn out well. Perhaps we had slightly higher expectations of the house due to the photos presented. A little renewal, cleaning up and freshening up can not hurt the rental.

In de heuvels boven Malaga.

Wij, 5 volwassenen en 2 kinderen, hebben genoten van ons verblijf in boerderij Los Martinez. Het huis is prachtig gelegen boven op een heuvel en vanaf het terras met zwembad kijk je tientallen kilometers weg. De tuin rond het huis is goed onderhouden en tijdens ons verblijf in mei, stonden de meeste planten in bloei. De boerderij is een aanrader voor grote gezinnen of familie-bijeenkomsten.

merveilleux séjour au milieu des oliviers

Maison de plain-pied magnifique, avec tout le confort nécessaire. La piscine dispose d'une vue magnifique et les enfants l'ont adorée. Nous avons apprécié le calme des environs et le paysage montagneux. La maison est entourée de figuiers, d'amandiers et d'oliviers. Séjour parfait, nous recommandons cette location.

Belle maison bien isolée et équipée

J'ai rarement été dans une maison avec autant d'équipement, pas toujours complet mais largement assez pour faire tout ce que vous pouvez imaginer dans l'énorme cuisine. AirCo partout. La chambre "parentale" est bien éloignée des autres. Largement assez de place pour chacun (on était à 6 dont un couple, une personne âgée, un adulte et 2 ados. Vous pouvez réserver sans inquiétudes.

Magnifique séjour en Andalousie !

Nous avons passé une magnifique semaine à deux familles dans cette superbe villa au coeur de l'Andalousie. La maison est extrêmement bien équipée (une salle de bain avec WC par chambre), elle est climatisée ce qui est plus qu'appréciable au regard des températures andalouses en été (entre 35 et 40 lorsque nous y étions). Les enfants ont passé leur temps à se baigner dans la très belle piscine, depuis laquelle on bénéficie d'une superbe vue sur les collines alentours. Le jardin est magnifique, avec de beaux figuiers remplis de délicieuses figues bien mûres, et plusieurs salons de jardin ce qui permet de suivre le parcours du soleil au fur et à mesure de la journée et de toujours prendre ses repas à l'ombre. Nous avons pu visiter Cordoue, Grenade et Ronda car la villa se trouve à peu près à égale distance de ces trois splendides sites (prévoir entre 1h30 et 1h45 de route à chaque fois). Kelly et Geoff, les gestionnaires de la propriété, nous ont accueillis avec beaucoup de gentillesse et se sont montrés très disponibles et réactifs toute la semaine. Les contacts en amont avec les propriétaires ont été très agréables. Ils instaurent dès le départ un climat de confiance réciproque très appréciable. Bref, nous recommandons la location de cette villa, que nous avons quittée avec grand regret au bout d'une semaine passée trop vite.

Lovely house

A lovely region and a wonderful villa just 40 mins from Malaga airport

A beautiful, unspoilt area just 40 mns from Malaga Airport. We've spent time in the region in recent years, but later in the season (June - Sept) to enjoy its summer heat. We thought it would be good to arrive sooner in the year and enjoy some of the areas walks - particularly the well-marked historic routes of the Camino Mazarebe de Santiago. Weather was a comfortable 17 - 25c , mostly sunny and only 2 hours of light rain for the week we were there. Near ideal for walking for me and some early season poolside sun bathing for my wife. The area is agricultural (olives / almond groves) , rural and quiet , but with local amenities within easy reach in Almogia or Villaneuva. One of the beauties of being here is how quiet the countryside is . Finca Los Martinez - a near perfect family holiday retreat. Lots of outside entertainment/ eating space and a brilliant pool for young and old alike . Good size bedrooms , all en suite, and a large kitchen area and family room complete the property. For me its difficult to think of a better home to spend time with family and /or friends. I've returned home having had a lovely time and cant believe how relaxed we feel.
