    Private wooded riverfront luxury retreat, in your backyard! Secord lake luxury retreat is located just 2 hours from Metro Detroit. Summer or winter, this property is packed with amazing things to experience! The space has been designed to be both functional and fun with a full kitchen, outside grill, and campfire ring. With 3 bedrooms, a great room, plentiful outdoor seating, plus indoor/outdoor entertaining spaces the home can accommodate up to 10 people comfortably with WiFi, central AC, and 2 full bathrooms. Our goal is to help you relax and unwind so you can make new life-long memories with your family and friends!

    The Space
    Modern with an up north vibe meticulously maintained. Fully stocked for adults and kids with tons of activities. The location is close to golf, kayaking, hiking, ORV roads and trails, snowmobiling, state land for hunting, and 30 minutes from Saganing Eagle Casino.

    Guest access
    Guests will have full access to the property including private river front property. The water level in the lake and river is still down unfortunately due to the work being done on the Secord Dam.

    Security
    We have security cameras located outside the main entrance and parking area for guest safety, security, and to ensure property is being used as is expected.

    Off-Roading
    You can access the Gladwin ORV Trailhead from the property by riding on ORV roads. It's a 12 mile ride to the trails from our home. Simply head South on Bensch Rd., take a left on Boman Rd., and a right on Wildwood Rd. The Gladwin ORV trails pick-up on the left about 6 miles South on Wildwood Rd. and those trails can followed through to the Trailhead.

Beautiful, secluded home. The house was kept nice, and very clean! Outside toys for the kids were fun while we enjoyed the fire pit. Would recommend this stay!

We made a quick family trip and really enjoyed ourselves. Our host was very responsive, the games that were provided were appreciated by all of us, and the firewood so we could easily use the firepit was a special perk! Recommend; we would definitely stay here again.

This place is a little hidden gem! The home is super clean and spacious and provides exactly everything you’d need for a long forest getaway. Would highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the area.

Everything advertised on the website was accurate. The house was clean, had enough parking for at least 4 vehicles, yard games and a great campfire area. Definitely will think about staying here in the future

Beautiful property on a very quiet street. The house was very nice and everything you need is provided. The outdoor games and unlimited firewood were a great touch. Highly recommend this place!

Exactly as pictured!

This place could not have been more perfect and accommodating as shown! It was a girls weekend away and we enjoyed every second there. Kitchen had everything needed for us to cook and enough firewood to last all weekend while we hung out at the bonfire and enjoyed the quiet and escape from the rest of the world. I highly recommend staying here whether you are coming with family or friends!

Great place for weekend with friends!

So clean and nice finishes, really enjoyed a stay for 5 of us. They really do a nice job making you feel welcome and provide nice amenities. Yard has plenty of shade and the fire pit is awesome. Obviously an owner that cares! Thank you for a great weekend.

My husband and I came with another couple for a weekend of golf. We all loved this place and felt we had everything we needed. We golfed in the afternoons, played games around the kitchen table in the evening & than had some awesome bonfires. The mosquitos were pretty bad but expected. Definitely a place we'd look forward to coming back to.

Beautiful spacious ckean house. Stocked with anything you might need or forgotten. Big yard for kids to run around. Quiet neighborhood. Only thing mosquitos are horrible, OFF doesn't work.

Nice getaway from the city

Very nice property with many amenities, my family loves the axe throwing game! The fire pit was a huge hit also. The house is fairly updated and has alot of cooking utensils and spices ect. They have a very nice charcoal grill for use alsomn

Great house

The house was very clean and exactly like the pictures.it had everything that we needed. It was nice and quiet and were able to explore the property. The yard games they had were awesome. I went with my husband and another couple to get away so we can relax and reset and that is exactly what we were able to do. Check in and everything was very easy. Everything was perfect for us. We are already looking to book again next year for another trip.

Quiet location

The inside was clean and comfortable. The outside of the property could use some love and maintenance, but that's to be expected given the woodsy location. The bugs were awful at night, making it impossible to enjoy the very nice firepit. The multiple abandoned properties on the road are unfortunate. There's nothing that can really be done about that though. This rental is definitely the nicest on the road.
