⚫Guests are provided check-in instructions prior to their stay or when requested. Prior to a guests stay they are provided with the electronic door code to enter into the home.
⚫Guests have access to the entire home and its outdoor features which are operational year round.
⚫You’ll receive our automated check-in instructions 📩 24 hours before your arrival, so everything you need will be ready ahead of time for a smooth and easy check-in!
⚫Our homes use electronic door locks 🔐 for your convenience. A door code will be sent to you automatically ⏰ 2 hours before check-in time, unless you’re checking in earlier.
⚫When it’s time to head out, we’ve got you covered too! 🧼🕒 Our checkout instructions will be sent a day before your departure, you'll receive them at 2:00 PM the day before your checkout.

📌IML Community Amenity Wristband Update (Effective June 10, 2025) - Please note that this from the Indian Mountain Lake Civic Association (IML) and not from us as your host 😊
🔴 IML has introduced a new wristband policy for short-term rental guests:
🔹 Wristbands are now required to access community amenities (pools, beaches, etc.)
🔹 $10 per wristband per person (Valid for your entire stay)
🔹 You can buy directly at the Clubhouse or pre-order it from us, just let us know in advance
🔹 Wristbands are non-transferable and must be worn while using amenities
🔹 Pre-ordered wristbands will be held at the 534 Gate House
📌 This change is designed to make access easier for guests! If you'd like help ordering wristbands in advance, just message us — we’re happy to help!
⚠️ We do our best to ensure there is propane available for grills and/or fire pits, but cannot guarantee there will be propane for use throughout your stay. If all available tanks are empty, we ask that you refill a tank and provide a receipt for reimbursement. ‼️Note: be sure to refill/replace the existing tanks - do not purchase a brand new tank.
⚠️ Given our property's rural setting, you might occasionally notice small, non-harmful insects. Rest assured, we have comprehensive, year-round pest control measures in place and work hard to minimize these encounters. Thank you for your understanding, and please let us know if you have any concerns!
⚠️ Friendly Note: 🐻 Since our home is tucked in nature, you may spot a black bear in the area from time to time. No worries - they’re generally well-behaved and prefer to keep their distance from people. As long as food and trash are secured, they’ll simply wander by and continue on their way.
🛠️ Please Note: The sauna area is currently undergoing some construction and improvements to make the space even better for our guests. That said, the sauna itself is fully functional and ready for you to enjoy during your stay! We appreciate your understanding while we give the area a bit of a refresh!
🛠️ Please note that backyard work materials have been delivered to the property and are currently being stored in the garage area in preparation for future backyard maintenance. No construction or work will take place during your stay, and the materials are neatly stored to avoid any disruption. We appreciate your understanding and want to be fully transparent so there are no surprises upon arrival. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out as we’re happy to help!

♨️ Hot Tub Notice – Please Read 😊
📌We strive to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Occasionally, if a previous guest hasn’t followed proper usage guidelines, we may need to drain, clean, and refill the hot tub before your stay for health and safety reasons 🧼🦠. If this happens, please note that it may take until the evening of your first night (or slightly longer, depending on the weather) for the water to fully heat back up 🔥🌙. We totally get that guests look forward to relaxing in the hot tub, and we only perform this maintenance when absolutely necessary to ensure a clean and safe experience for everyone 💧👍.

◾Additionally, our account is not set up for VRBO or HomeAway to collect the remaining balances or security deposits directly. These are collected by us, with payments securely processed via Stripe or Bill.com.
