Wir hatten einen rundum wunderschönen Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel. Das Personal war jederzeit unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und herzlich – man hat sich sofort willkommen gefühlt. Das Essen war durchweg hervorragend, ganz besonders das Frühstück, das keine Wünsche offenließ und ein echtes Highlight für uns war. Unser Zimmer war immer sehr sauber, super gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet. Auch das Bad war ausreichend groß und modern gestaltet, sodass man sich rundum wohlfühlen konnte. Der Poolbereich sowie die Außenanlagen waren stets sauber und gepflegt. Ein großes Lob auch an die hoteleigenen Bademeister, die genauso aufmerksam und professionell waren wie der Rest der Belegschaft. Der Strand wurde täglich sauber gehalten und trug zusätzlich zu diesem perfekten Urlaubsgefühl bei. Insgesamt war es für uns ein Traumaufenthalt, den wir jederzeit wiederholen würden. Absolute Empfehlung!

We had a great 4 night stay at Ahu Bay. It was nice that Nilanga messaged ahead to discuss arrival time. Having a room right on the beach was a real treat and the private pool was kept spotless by the team. The team couldn’t do more for us during our stay, making adjustments to cocktails to suit ours tastes. We ate at hotel twice and both times really enjoyed the dishes we tried, it’s clear there’s a talented chef in the kitchen!

This hotel is wonderful. The rooms are beautiful and big. We had a outdoor shower and a wonderful view on the beach. The staff ist very friendly and helpful. The food and cocktails are delicious and the prices are really fair in contrast to other resorts. We enjoyed our stay allot and look forward to the next time.

Gorgeous Property!

What a beautiful hotel! We stayed in an exquisite villa with the beach at right outside our doors. The enjoy the sunsets from our bed was truly spectacular. A lovely and welcoming staff who catered to our every need. The food was good - but I prefer the menu at their sister property, Kayaam House. But Ahu Bay has THE BEST coconut toffee! Thank you to wonderful staff who were so kind and helpful, especially Nilanga and Kasum.

Perfect stay in Paradise

Our stay was more than amazing. The hotel is located wonderfully, directly at the beach with amazing views. The food and cocktails were delicious and the prices for the food and drinks were fair. What made our stay really memorable is the amazing staff of the hotel. Every single employee was so friendly and attentive, i have never experienced service like that. Thanks to everyone for making our stay so wonderful.

Nice hotel, but feels a little unfinished. The food was great, as well as service. The bay is pretty but the beach is small and waves are too strong for swimming most of the time. The suite with a pool doesn't feel as private as I imagined looking at the pictures. The pool is visible from the public beach and the rooms upstairs.

Great staff, terrific food, only negative is that there are tour operators on the grounds that try to undercut the resort by offering cheaper tours. Fairly relentless and a bit nasty if you turn them down

Ahu Bay is absolutely amazing. It is like true paradise. The staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcomed and they are so kind and helpful! The food is absolutely amazing. Everything we ordered was delicious and surprised us every time. The pool, beach, and rooms are beautiful! The location is great, right on the beach and close to many attractions by Tuk tuk or scooter! Overall Ahu bay is one of the most amazing places I have ever stayed and I recommend 5000x to anyone!

From the moment I arrived, it was evident that this establishment had spared no expense in creating a truly exceptional environment for its guests. The well-maintained facilities, stunning buildings, and inviting pool immediately set the tone for a memorable stay. The staff at this hotel deserves special commendation. Their dedication to providing exceptional service was evident at every turn. From the warm welcome at check-in to their attentive presence throughout my stay, the staff members consistently went above and beyond to meet and anticipate my every need. Interacting with such a professional and friendly team was a genuine pleasure. The extensive selection of a la carte dishes at a in-house restaurant catered to a variety of tastes, ensuring that every guest could find something to satisfy their palate. The culinary offerings were delicious and beautifully presented, demonstrating the restaurant's commitment to excellence. The hotels' secluded havens provided the perfect backdrop for relaxation and peaceful contemplation. Unlike other places along the coast, where noise from air conditioning or humidifiers can disrupt the tranquility, the rooms at this hotel were exceptionally quiet, allowing for uninterrupted serenity. I would highly recommend this hotel to those seeking a few days of complete disconnection from the outside world.

Amazing hotel! Would highly recommend to anyone. Such a boutique private feel with a stunning setting right on the beach. The food at the restaurant for dinner and breakfast was such high quality and some of the best we had in Sri Lanka. The rooms are so stunning and clean, and have everything you need. The service is also incredible from the moment you get there to the moment you leave. Would definitely go back and recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone!
