"Hotel very clean. Staff very polite and friendly and helpful. Private beach was awesome and offered service for drinks and food. Very convenient. Room was amazing with ocean view. Only the area around the hotel like on the Main Street seemed not too safe and not clean. "

"Beautiful hotel right at the beach. Fantastic interior design especially the restaurant area. Everything is maintained permanently and therefore the hotel is looking like brand new. Unfortunately the sewage pipes are also a problem in this facility like in many others in Greece which results in an unpleasant smell in the bathroom and the balcony. "My wife and I recently spent 11-days at Blue Bay in Afitos starting Sept 27 to celebrate a delayed 5 yr anniversary. Our stay at the Blue Bay was wonderful. We stayed in a double delux room 311 which is on the second floor with a 180 degree balcony overlooking the beautiful clear sea, and we could also look over to the right to see the Veranda, bar, restaurant, and pool. "Pics are deceiving… the pool was closed at 6 pm, not 7 as they say. The beach is accessible through a steep hill (no stairs) and the elderly will barely make it. Resort needs more renovations. Nothing but small towns/villages around, no walking paths. You’re pretty much locked in the hotel. Food was good but the choice was limited like in Cuban hotels. No evening entertainment programs.
