The Inn at Blue Mountain Brewery was built in 2007 as the original home of the brewery owners and was recently reimagined as an eclectic retreat perfect for gathering with friends or family. The 4,000 square foot home sits on 2 acres of wooded countryside adjacent to the larger grounds of Blue Mountain Brewery. Enjoy dinner or drinks at the brewery and retire to this 5 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom Cape Cod a short walk away via our beautifully manicured path. In addition to comfortable, well-appointed sleeping quarters, a fully-stocked kitchen, and game room with pool table, the Inn features a welcoming wrap-around porch, large outdoor deck and patio areas, fire pit, hot tub, tiki bar, and gorgeous views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Conveniently located on Route 151 in scenic Nelson County, the Inn is minutes away from some of the area's best wineries, breweries, cideries, and distilleries, and a quick 20 minute drive to the University of Virginia in historic Charlottesville, Virginia. 20 miles to the south, Wintergreen Resort offers a variety of ski, spa, golf, and various recreational options year-round. Numerous hiking trails, state and national parks are also in the nearby vicinity.

Perfect Fall Brewery Weekend Getaway

We had another amazing annual friends’ weekend at Blue Mountain! The beautiful home is the perfect size for our group, and our 2-night stay allowed us to enjoy dinner at the brewery next door one night, and dinner at home the other night. This property is well-appointed to stay in, with big TVs, a pool table, a hot tub, and an inviting fire pit. It’s also perfectly located to go out for hiking and visiting breweries and wineries. We’re already planning our return next year! Thank you for a fabulous weekend!

Country Getaway for Family & Friends

My second stay at this property - a roomy country house with porches and decks all around, bedrooms on three floors, a flip-the-switch gas fireplace inside and a gas fire pitt and grill outside. Well-furnished with what guests will need, including kitchen and laundry room. An old school place to get together with family and friends near Cville and wine country but also away from it all.

Wonderful location and beautiful property

This home is situated in an ideal location. It was super clean and full of the best amenities from the pool table to the hot tub to the gas grill, wrap around porch, tons of games etc... I was beyond pleased.

Annual Friends Getaway - Perfect Place to Stay!

We are a group of 5 couples who come to the Afton/Wintergreen area for a November weekend away, hiking and visiting the breweries. This property has the perfect layout for a large group - a big kitchen, good space to gather in the living room, the basement game room, and around the fire pit, and plenty of bedrooms for all. Walking to dinner at the Blue Mountain Brewery was a special perk. We loved our time at this beautiful home, and have already decided to book again for next year!

Great girls weekend

House is just as pictured and has plenty of space for everyone. We enjoyed our weekend and the location was perfect for winery visits, morning hikes and trips to Charlottesville. The brewery next door is fantastic for a quick bite or late pizza!

Perfect house for Rte 151 attractions

Perfectly located for Rte 151 breweries, wineries, and cideries. The house had every amenity, 3 floors to separate early risers from night owls, spectacular mtn views from front porch, and one minute walk to Blue Mtn Brewery with excellent food and drink. We had three generations celebrating birthdays and couldn't have picked a more perfect house. Can't wait to come back.

Excellent!!!

Just like the pictures, this property and house are beautiful! Martha was so quick to respond to any texts we sent, and was so helpful. We ate almost our meals on the back porch off the kitchen, in such a beautiful environment (landscaping and trees are so nice). Got great food (especially pizzas) and great beer at the brewery next store. And fruit orchards in the area were amazing when we went picking on June 20. Can’t beat this house!

5 star property across the board

We rented the Inn for a family wedding and ended up hosting the rehearsal dinner there with catering and beer from the brewery. Martha was fantastic to work with, the property was beautiful for the dinner, and the house exceeded our expectations with accommodations, cleanliness, and thoughtful amenities. Highly recommend!

This property is just wonderful! Has everything you need, 4 bathrooms, bedrooms on each floor which allowed privacy for different members of our family. Gas fire pit, hot tub, pool table, so much room inside and out! So convenient to have the brewery next door for fitting in meals. (We were there for my son’s wedding at a local winery and were in and out all weekend) I highly recommend this property. 😊

Super convenient to antiquing, wineries, and the brewery. Our second stay and will be back! Hot tub very clean, kitchen well stocked, beds comfy, and though we experienced an issue with the AC, the property manager was very responsive.

We had 12 adults and the house was perfect!! Location was great and convenient. The decks and yard gave us plenty of room to spread out. Along with the pool table in the basement. Loved the house and will definitely be back!

Beautiful and comfortable home!

Awesome place to stay with lots of fun activities! We loved the hot tub, outdoor gas fire pit, outdoor games and the pool table! House was also super comfortable!
