It was a very hot couple of days when we were there; the air conditioning in our room was excellent. The hotel is very well presented and well maintained. "We had a problem when we arrived as we had booked a Superior King Room with our dog but on arrival told we couldn't have that so downgraded to a lessor room. But the staff gave us a free drink and free parking and as we had no choice at that stage we had to accept it. Very annoying as I had called in advance to confirm the booking and that we were bringing a dog etc but thats the problem with corporates"

"The stay was okay, but when checking out we had an incident where when returned a few minutes after checkout our key cards were no longer which was to be expected. So we went to front desk to ask for the keys to be enabled so we could get our luggage and bags. When we were told that they had no record of us being there and the room was showing as empty. We told them that’s not possible we had been there the past 2 nights and we needed to get to the train station as soon as possible. I get there...

"We had a wonderful time at the Old Church Farm. The grounds are very green and peaceful. Very comfortable beds and great hosts! A gem in the area. Do not skip on the breakfast! a fantastic experience"

"Jonny, the host was friendly, courteous and very helpful. Cannot be faulted. Room and en suite basic, but bed clean and comfortable. Plenty of storage drawers, small table and chairs a nice touch. Shower room small but clean, with good shower pressure. Although above a pub, the rooms are unexpectedly quiet. Budget-friendly - if you want all the “bells & whistles”, then you’d have to pay much more for a room. Well worth the money."
