Unfortunately, we arrived, and there was no one to greet us, except the security guard, who gave us a nice tour around the property, including rooms that were obviously occupied by other guests… Our room was nice, but the facilities could certainly use some work. For example, there was no toilet paper holder, and there was about 1/25 of a roll of toilet paper just sitting on the back of the toilet tank. "This is more of a guest house than a lodge. Accommodations are basic, which is why the label of "lodge" is perhaps a little misleading. Like many things in Zimbabwe, this place has several things that are broken, which didn't make it an awful stay, but when added up, they detract from the overall quality of the establishment. "Had a bad Checkin experience, feel like they ambushed us by taking advantage of the busy period they were threatening to cancel our reservation and leave us stranded on the street. I find it so unethical to require USD $100 a night for an additional person yet the original booking was $56 a night for the same room. "

"The hotel was cozy, clean, and comfortable. It well served its purpose as a base for me while I visited the Falls several times. The neighborhood of the hotel was also charming. I’m a birder and managed to photograph more than 10 new bird species, separate from what I saw at the Falls. As a solo traveler, I especially welcomed seeing Faith’s friendly face every morning for the two days I spent at the hotel. I would stay at this place again and would recommend it to others. "
