"Boutique Hotel Schluessel was perfect for a remote getaway. The staff are incredibly friendly and cannot do enough for you. The hotel rooms are spacious and clean and there are lots of amenities including a self service mini bar, hairdryers and drinking water faucets in the rooms. Our room was warm in the heat of the summer but we were provided with fans which kept the room cool. "This hotel was absolutely wonderful and made our trip to Engleberg so worth the detour we took to go there. The staff was excellent with the most note worthy service being provided by Freya and Lazio. We stayed in the Epoque room which was one of the loveliest beautifully appointed rooms with rounded windows but modern Scandinavian style furniture and a gorgeous up to date bathroom! And the bed was extremely comfortable. We had an outstanding experience and highly recommend this property. "

"The check in staffs was awesome. Loved the upgrade, loved the balcony lake & mountain view and my kids did too. The coffee and fruits availability. (24 hours) Dinner, the meals are delicious 😋 cost (you worry too much) more on the outside. Thank you Mr. Flores."

"Absolutely stunning views from room and restaurant. I stayed in the Naturhus, and my room was a little dated, but I was there for the lovely balcony overlooking the lake. If you want a more updated room, choose one in the main building. "

"Bellevue Hotel is great! It’s almost the oldest hotel in Engelberg, but the hotel is very unique, stylish and clean. Very European style. Staffs are friendly and helpful. The most amazing part is the view from the balcony, love it!"
