"I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. Easy to find and only 30 mins drive from OR Tambo airport. Check-in and out was quick and easy with very welcoming front desk staff. The room was very comfortable, a good size and spotlessly clean. Tea and coffee making facilities were also in the room as well as a refrigerator which was put to use. "Unfortunately, I had to cancel my visit to Johannesburg due to a strange tourist visa requirement, thus missed my planned time there. However, I am motivated to log this review simply because I am very impressed by the hotel communication. It was prompt, extremely polite and very understanding and supportive. I would like to thank Le Caira for the professional communication and kindness. "

"All was OK, especially the very good swimming pool and the really very nice well kept garden, thanks to the property's dedicated grounds keeper, but the kitchen needs to be restocked with more cooking wares and specially drinking glasses as there were none of these at all.."

"The lodge is clean with wonderful & friendly staffs. The perimeters are under surveillance . There is no microwave in the rooms, you have to come to the reception to use the microwave. I hope the management make provision for this. The overall rate is good."

"Red Dot Lodge is not a guest house. I had to find alternative accommodation late at night for my daughter and we are Both very upset by the whole matter. Kindly provide me with a refund and remove the guest house from your web site. Ian Young +27 (0)83 251 3571"

"Firstly, the address advertised as well as the photographs of the accomodation are and is not the address of the actual "hostel. " There is no transportation to the actual address on Jan Smuts rd where you find out that you will be staying UPON ARRIVAL.. The cleanliness of the rooms are at best disgusting. No toilet paper is the tip of the iceberg. There are naked woman walking the halls with numerous "visitors" coming in and out. The owner\manager is impossible to get hold of. Disgraceful....

"Beautiful property in a prime and safe location close to many dining options. I didn't want to leave my beautiful suite. Savon has excellent service overall. Their spa is an experience worth staying at this property for. Amazing hospitality by all the staff we encountered, from the GM to the butler. They even left us treats for our Anniversary celebrations with delicious chocolate-covered strawberries. We just missed their 25th anniversary celebrations the next day, but the preparations...
